Movie Night
Summary: in which alien!reader asks Gojo to teach her a little something Word Count: 1.8k Warnings: smut, not proofread
Day 7
“What’s wrong, E?”
All fresh from a shower, you and Satoru are sitting in the sofa, watching a movie. He’s finally bought you your own clothes and you’re dressed in a warm jumper and cosy pants. Satoru won’t lie; he’s grieving the pleasure of seeing you drown in his clothes. But you were ecstatic at the sight of the space themed pjs and so he was left with nothing to do but he happy.
Wrapped under a thick blanket, you’re huddled by his side, clutching his shirt. As with every movie, every night, you ask questions, and he answers as best as he can. He’s insanely grateful that you can understand him when he explains things like what a car is (a moving vehicle) or who Gordon Ramsey is (a famous chef known for being very wrinkly and very angry). It seems that your biggest issue, however, is stringing a full sentence together.
You’ve been getting much better, accelerating at a rate no human could manage. It’s both impressive and terrifying.
Right now, you’re tilting your head at a particular scene. Satoru forgot the plot of the money and he really regrets not keeping an eye out for the age rating, because on the screen plays a steamy, kiss scene.
In fact, ‘kiss’ isn’t even the right word; they’re making out.
How you both managed to last a week of doing nothing but watch movies without coming across a kiss scene he’ll never know. But the moment’s finally arrived and he is not any more prepared than he was on the first night.
He winces at the sound lips smacking against each other, a blush on his cheeks. A kiss is nothing -- he’s done far more than that, and multiple times. But, for some reason, he’s feeling a little shy. It might have something to do with the fact that you’re staring up at him with your big, curious eyes.
“What they doing?” You ask.
Satoru gulps. He’s become painfully aware of how close you are — his arm is trapped between your breasts, just a thin layer separating him from your soft flesh, and, under the blanket, your leg is strung ever so slightly on his thigh. He can smell his shampoo emanating from you with something sweet coursing just under that masculine scent.
Chuckling uncomfortably, he explains, “They’re kissing.”
“Why?”
He has half a mind to turn the TV off and declare an earlier bedtime, but you look so innocent he feels bad that he was thinking of something indecent. He’s your friend. He can’t prey on you and take advantage of your reliance on him. Plus, how would a kiss between two people from different intergalactic species even work?
Would it be the same? Or does it lead to pregnancy straight away? What if you lay eggs in his mouth? What if he lays eggs in your mouth?
Composing himself, he searches for the right words. “It’s something people do to express their love for each other, I guess. Well, not all the time, actually. Sometimes it’s just for pleasure.”
“Pleasure?”
Why, oh, why did you have to focus on that one word?
And why on everything that is good in this world is this scene so long?
“It means to feel good.”
The hand clutching his shirt flattens out until it’s feeling the hard planes of his chest and absorbing the vibrations of his heartbeat. You drum your fingers at the same pace, smiling softly. The heat of your hand, of your entire body, is setting his skin alight. Suddenly, it’s too hot under the blanket, there isn’t enough room or air, and he needs to go but he can’t bear to.
Batting your lashes, you inquire, “How to make pleasure, Toru? How kiss feel good?”
Brushing a lock of hair behind your ear, he corrects you, “It’s, ‘how does kissing make you feel good’, E. Try again for me?”
You taste the words, lips stretching to practice the movement before you parrot back perfectly, “Tell me how kissing makes you feel good, Toru.”
Oh, fuck.
Why did he make you repeat it in perfect Japanese? Why did he have to use this very moment as a learning opportunity?
Curse his perfect teaching instincts!
He’s about to shrug you off, using sleepiness as an excuse to retreat, but then you’re leaning even closer, licking your lips and eyeing his. Warmth is spreading through his body, circulating in one particular area and he’s hoping you don’t move your leg any higher otherwise this will turn into a completely different conversation and he’s not certain he could survive giving you an anatomy lesson without getting a nosebleed.
Licking his own lips, he grazes your cheek with his fingers. The skin he touches glows the very faintest hint of blue. He’s reeling. Up till now, he thought that your skin glows when you’re sleeping, but apparently you also glow when you’re being touched. But this isn’t the first time he’s touched you.
Was it because before he was trying very, very hard not to stare?
He doesn’t know, and regardless, he can’t stop touching you. Satoru presses on your adorable cheeks to watch it light up, the way his is flushing red. Whispering, he asserts, “I can’t tell you how kissing feels, E.”
Your hand presses harder against his chest, fingers splaying across the expanse. Subconsciously, he juts it out just a little. And with the most seductive voice, you demand, “Show me then, Toru. Make me feel good?”
Oh, and when you ask like that, how could anyone ever resist you?
There’s a tantalising closeness between you, just a hairsbreadth away from touching. When he finally closes that minuscule gap, a purr like thrum echoes through you. He kisses you, sweet and gentle, simply pressing his lips against yours. There’s nothing human about this, not with the invigorating taste of you, the scalding feel of your skin, and impossible softness of your body on his.
“This is a kiss?” You mumble.
Chuckling, he says, “No, E. This is.”
With one hand holding the back of your neck, he sucks your bottom lip, unable to help himself from deepening the kiss. You gasp into his mouth, and he dives his tongue in, meeting yours. He knows he should slow down, should let you adjust to a friendly peck before he takes more than you can give, but you taste so good and it’s like he’s drunk.
There’s a force, a gravitation pull drawing him in. He can’t resist it, can’t fight it, he isn’t even trying.
You pull back in shock.
Satoru chases after you, dragging you back in. He kisses you again. Groaning into your mouth, he slides a hand down to your leg, rising up your thigh. You jolt, a shiver running through your body. That electrifying purring hums in the air again and he’s smiling, hand rising and rising until he’s curving against your ass and carrying you over his thighs.
“This feels... I feel...,” you whimper, at a loss for words.
Squeezing your thighs, he coos, “It’s alright, sweet thing. I’ve got you. You wanted to learn pleasure, right? Who better to teach you than Toru, hmm?”
You shiver again when he whispers that against your neck, nose skimming your jaw and lips curling. He’s inhaling deeply, eyes fluttering close at the weight of your body pressing down on him and your addictive scent.
He can’t tell if this is all you or if it’s an alien thing, but he doesn’t care. Not in this moment, not when your hips are churning as he sucks at your neck, laying burning kisses against your skin, and watching the blue light dance under your skin.
“Oh, E,” he sighs. “Are you grinding on me, baby? You want more than just a kiss, is that it? My greedy, greedygirl.”
When your clothed core rubs just right against his throbbing length, you throw your head back, that purring noise a hiss and it vibrates against his cheek as he listens to your rapid heartbeat. He can feel how wet you are; you’re soaking through your panties and pyjama bottoms.
Satoru’s growing dizzy.
One hand guides your hips to gyrate on him whilst the other clutches your throat to pull your lips back to his. Satoru knows he should stop now that he’s already taught you what you asked for, but he can’t. He just can’t. The thrill of going further, of testing your, and his, limits is too much for one man to resist. Even if that man is the strongest sorcerer in the world, even if not a whole gaggle of curses could pose a threat to him.
“Toru!”
He thrusts upwards the same time he tugs you down and the elongated moan that leaves you, hips stuttering and hands frantically searching for purchase on his broad shoulders, leaves him feeling lightheaded. “That’s it, E. Take what you need.”
Your eyes are flashing blue, a darker hue than his own, and he’s amazed. Everything about you is incredible, like you were created to be his temptation, to be his undoing. Whether aliens have souls or not, he doesn’t know, but he does know that if you did, his and yours would be the same, all blue and perfect.
Laughing, he leans back, hands simply resting on your thighs as you ride out your orgasm, shocked eyes pleading for explanation, for reason but finding none in his. That purring gets louder and louder, the vibrations stronger now and they’re flowing straight from your soaked pussy and right onto his cock.
“Oh shit!” Satoru groans, nails digging suddenly. Within seconds, he’s cumming in his boxers, hot cream flooding his underwear from inside at the same time your wetness seeps through on top. “Jesus, E! That’s fucking intense, what the hell.”
He’s panting, eyes shut tightly as he keeps grinding your hips on his cock.
You slump onto him just as he falls back. You’re completely depleted of energy, and he knows exactly what you’re feeling. Rubbing your back, he presses a kiss to your hair, muttering ‘well done’ and ‘good job’.
“How was that for pleasure?”
Smacking his chest, you mumble a complaint. “Toru mean.”
He laughs agains.
“Sorry, E. You were just too cute.”
You raise your head, eyes bleary and fluttering shut. You meet his gaze, shaky fingers reaching for his lips and tracing them, all sore and pink, like you’re amazed at him the way he is at you. “Thank you. Kissing is nice.”
“We did a little more than just kissing, E. But sure, you’re welcome,” he chuckles.
Eventually, you both fall asleep in each other’s arms right there on the sofa, ‘Are You Still Watching’ filling the TV screen and not the movie he can’t even remember the name of, drying cum posing a problem he’ll have to deal with in the morning.
He dreams of sapphire streaks in the air, of giant balls of fire, and an angel descending with its arms outstretched. And he hopes he never wakes up.

rockstar!marauders x shy!reader ♡ 1k words
The sound tech at this venue is nice. You liked her first for her pink hair and then for the easy way she motioned you over to help do the boys’ sound checks. You don’t think she needed the help; she only saw you standing off by herself and did a kind thing to make you feel less awkward.
Now the boys are off in their dressing room, and you’re trailing contentedly behind her while she shows you how she sets up for shows.
The bustle and ruckus of crews setting up before shows isn’t new to you. You’ve been with the boys since the beginning of their tour, but usually you stay out of the way, blending into walls or taking refuge in your boyfriends’ dressing room while they’re busy. You’ve never really gotten to know the actions the bustle and ruckus constitute.
“Usually I help with lighting once I’m done with my own stuff,” the sound tech tells you. “It’s all programmed ahead of time, so really I’m just on standby in case something happens. Do the boys have a favorite color if I have to pick something?”
You gnaw your lip, contemplative. “Sirius would probably like yellow, if you get the chance.”
Her eyebrows shoot up. You know it’s not in the usual color palette of the boys’ shows. “Really?”
“No.” You suck in a breath as a pair of arms wraps around your middle, releasing it when you realize it’s Sirius. “Not really. Minx, you know I hate yellow.” He smushes his face into your cheek. “Joke’s on you though, I look good in every color.”
“Yellow certainly least,” James teases. He steps into your field of vision wearing his concert outfit. Jeans and a tight t-shirt just short enough to tease a sliver of abdomen. Of all the fans who will get to see him looking so handsome tonight, you’re glad you’re one of them.
“Anyway,” he says, grinning, “we have a very important question for you both. No pressure.”
“Well, some pressure,” Sirius says.
You look at your sound tech friend. Like most crew, she’s largely unaffected by the rockstars currently sharing in casual repartee in front of her. Her eyes don’t appear to dip to James’ stomach or trace the myriad of tattoos you know are showing through Sirius’ sheer top. If anything, she looks only faintly amused by the way the band’s lead singer is mushing tiny, soft kisses into the skin by your ear. Your cheeks warm.
“What’s the question?” you ask, dreading the reply.
Sirius turns you in his arms, taking you by the shoulders and levelling you with a very serious look. “What is the hottest instrument for someone to play?”
Your sound tech friend barks a laugh. “Bass,” she says. “No question.”
James’ eyebrows fly up, his expression one of utter disbelief, but Sirius only says swiftly, “Wrong. You know what it is, don’t you, gorgeous?”
Your shoulders gravitate upwards at the moniker. “You can’t ask me to pick between you.”
“Don’t think of it as picking between us,” he says. “Just, which is the hottest? Objectively.”
“I can’t be objective,” you plead.
“Does anyone know what time it is? I can’t seem to find a clock in this whole place.” You turn your head as Remus emerges from their dressing room, blowing smoke from the corner of his mouth. “Oh.” He blinks when he sees you, waving to dispel the smog. “Sorry, dovey. Where’ve you been?”
“I’ve been here,” you say, voice softening. Sirius makes a quiet sound and hugs you again.
“You’re cute,” he murmurs, low enough that only you can hear. Your face flames.
“It’s quarter ‘til,” the sound tech offers helpfully.
Remus turns to her with a smile he’ll never understand the power of. “Thank you.”
“We’re conducting a poll on which instrument is the hottest,” James informs him. He jerks his thumb toward the sound tech. “She says bass.”
Remus’ grin turns smug. “Quite right. What’s your pick, dove?”
You’re mute and melting, hot enough by now that you wish you could evaporate into steam and float away through the vents.
“She won’t say,” Sirius sighs dramatically, breath warm against your cheek.
“Oh.” Remus seems to wisen to your plight. “It’s not really playing fair, is it? She can hardly be objective.”
“Right,” you agree quickly.
“But angel,” says James, bewildered, “guitar is classic.”
“I’ll tell you what’s not fair,” Sirius argues. “For anyone to say anything other than the front man! We’re chosen for our hotness!”
“Well, that’s not strictly true, is it?”
“Yeah?” Sirius has that shit-eating grin, like he’s winding James up in anticipation of hauling him into a broom closet. You’re only glad it’s not directed at you. “You got something to say, Potter?”
“Sorry,” Remus apologizes to your sound tech friend on their behalf, touching a hand to Sirius’ back to guide you both towards the dressing room. James follows.
“You’re good,” she laughs. “Nice to meet you, y/n.”
“You too,” you say, cringing at the unintentional softness of your own voice.
“Who was that?” Sirius asks as James closes the door to their dressing room behind you. “Have you made a new friend?”
You groan, flopping down onto the posh-looking, uncomfortable couch and covering your face with your hands. “I was trying to.”
“It looked like it was going well,” James says. “Maybe you can hang out with her again while we’re onstage.”
“I can’t now,” you mumble between your palms.
“Why not?”
“Because,” says Remus, as he sits beside your head and begins smoothing your baby hairs with his fingers, “we’ve embarrassed her.” You let your hands slip down enough to see him, and he smiles at you. “I don’t think she’ll hold it against you, dovey. She seemed nice.”
“You would think so.” Sirius plucks the cigarette from between Remus’ fingers, taking a drag before it can burn out. “She picked your instrument.”
Remus shrugs, smug again. “That helps.”
Sirius squints at him spitefully. He sits next to your knees where they’re flung over the arm of the couch. “Don’t let us spoil your new friend for you,” he says, sincerely. “She loves you already, I can tell. You’re perfect.”
“You’re biased,” you counter, face heating again.
Sirius grins like he can tell and reaches down to tug you upwards. He grasps you with a roughness for which he has no follow through, kissing you sweetly with his fingers bunched in your jacket.
“Wrong,” he says, lips moving against yours. “I know how to be objective.”

HIS FAVORITE PERSON ⋆.ೃ࿔*:・
pairing: bsf!rafe x fem!reader
warnings: angst, rafe having a breakdown, mentions of a dead body, trauma, ward, comfort, slight fluff, kissing, cuddling, inspired by season 2 ep 2 of obx
Rafe’s room was a storm of chaos, just like his mind. His chest heaved as he sat on the floor, back pressed against his bed frame, fingers tugging at his hair like he could somehow yank the thoughts out of his head. His palms were clammy, his heart slamming against his ribs. The body, the ocean, his dad’s cold commands—the images were crushing him. He could still hear the splash, still feel the sick churn in his stomach as they drove away from the scene like nothing had happened. Like it was normal.
But it wasn’t.
“Fuck,” he hissed, slamming a fist into the floor. The pain grounded him for half a second before the panic resurfaced again, boiling over. He couldn’t stay here. He couldn’t be alone in this house with its suffocating walls and memories of what he’d just done. He couldn’t stay under one roof with Ward right now.
Without thinking, Rafe grabbed his car keys and stumbled out the door, the night swallowing him whole. The only place he could go was yours. You were the only one who could calm the chaos, the only one who made him feel like he wasn’t falling apart.
You were deep in your slumber when you were jolted awake by a loud knock at the door. Tired, you checked the time—2:37 a.m. You frowned, your sleep deprived brain struggling to process who would show up at this hour. Dragging yourself out of bed, you shuffled to the door, your favorite oversized t-shirt, one that you stole from Rafe, hanging loosely around your figure. And when you opened the front door, your confusion turned to worry. “Rafe?”
He stood there, his shoulders hunched, his hair a complete mess, and his blue eyes wild with something dark and unhinged. He was pacing on your porch, his breathing uneven, and his hands were shaking. “y/n,” he said, his voice strained, barely above a whisper. “Sorry for bugging you this late, I just—I didn’t know where else to go.”
“Rafe, what’s wrong?” You asked, stepping forward. He looked up at you, his expression haunted. “I did something. Something bad. Really bad.” Your heart sank, eyebrows furrowing, “You’re scaring me.” Rafe was always intense—impulsive, reckless—but this was different. He looked broken, like he was barely holding himself together. You reached out, grabbing his arm to steady him.
“Come inside,” you urged, but he shook his head violently. “No. I can’t—I can’t breathe in there. I can’t breathe anywhere.” His voice cracked, and he backed away, running a hand through his hair as he began muttering. “He’s insane, y/n. My dad is insane, and now I’m—I’m just like him. I helped him. I didn’t want to, but I did, and now—”
“Rafe, slow down,” you said firmly, not understanding a single thing before stepping in front of him. “You’re not making any sense. Just talk to me. What happened?” He stopped pacing, his eyes locking onto yours. “A body,” he said, his voice barely audible. “We got rid of a body.” Your blood ran cold. “What?”
He let out a hollow laugh, his hands trembling as he pressed them to his temples. “It doesn’t matter. It’s done. I did it. I helped him dump it into the ocean like it was nothing. Like it was trash.” His voice grew louder, more frantic. “And now I can’t stop hearing it. I can’t stop seeing it. It’s everywhere.” You stood there, stunned, mind racing to catch up. Rafe was unraveling in front of you, and you had no idea how to help him. “Rafe—”
“I’m a monster,” he interrupted, his voice rising. “I’m just like him. I didn’t even hesitate, y/n. What kind of person does that? What kind of person—”
“Rafe, stop!” You snapped, grabbing his face and forcing him to look at you. His breathing hitched, his wild eyes meeting your comforting ones. “You are not a monster. You’re—” you faltered, unsure what to say. “You’re you. And whatever this is, whatever happened, we’ll deal with it. You nodded, saying it more to yourself than him.
Rafe shook his head, his voice breaking. “You don’t get it. You don’t know what I’ve done.” His whole body was trembling. “Then tell me,” you said, your voice softer now. “Tell me everything.” He stared at you, torn between fear and desperation. “I can’t,” he whispered. “I can’t lose you too.”
Your heart twisted painfully. You’d never seen Rafe like this, so vulnerable and raw. And yet, there was something else—a connection that had always been there, just right beneath the surface of your friendship. You’ve been best friends since forever, sure, but you weren’t just friends. Not with the way you looked at each other, the way you touched and held each other like it was normal.
Without thinking, you closed the gap between you two and kissed him. You’d kissed before—dozens of times, maybe more. It had always been casual, something you would do to calm each other down or just because it felt natural. It was soft and deliberate, a reminder that you were here, that you weren’t going anywhere.
When you pulled back, Rafe’s breathing slowed, his hands coming up to rest on your waist like he was grounding himself in you. He leaned forward, stealing another kiss, then another, his lips brushing yours with a quiet desperation while tears fled the corner of his eyes. Trying to shut up the voices in his head, and you didn’t mind. You never did. That’s just how things between you were and neither of you had questioned it before.
“Thank you,” he murmured, his forehead resting against yours.“You don’t need to thank me, Rafe.” you whispered back. “Now come inside.”
In your room, you pulled Rafe onto your bed, wrapping the blankets around the both of you as you settled in. He curled into you, his head resting against your chest, as you tried to give him as much comfort as possible, your fingers tracing soothing circles on his back.
You held him close, your arms wrapped tightly around his body as his breathing finally began to even out. The storm of his panic had calmed, but his weight against you felt heavier than ever, like he was carrying something too big for either of you to handle. You didn’t know what to say—what could you say? His words kept ringing in your ears. A body. Dumped it in the ocean. You shivered, though the room wasn’t cold.
Rafe’s head was tucked under your chin, his breath warm against your collarbone. He was silent now, but his body still trembled faintly. You tightened your hold on him, resting your cheek against the top of his head. You’d always thought of yourself as his anchor, the person who could pull him back when he started spinning out. But tonight felt different. Tonight, it felt like you were trying to piece together an already broken vase.
Your fingers absentmindedly combed through his messy blonde hair. You’d been best friends since kindergarden, your lives so deeply intertwined it was hard to tell where one of you ended and the other began. But your friendship wasn’t normal, and you began to acknowledge that as time passed. Friends didn’t kiss to calm each other down. Friends didn’t fall asleep in each other’s arms, your touches lingering in a way that always felt like it meant more.
You weren’t just friends, you thought, the truth settling heavily in your chest. But whatever you were, figuring it out had to wait. Rafe needed you now, more than ever, and you couldn’t let him down.
You closed your eyes, breathing him in, the faint scent of saltwater and his cologne clinging to him. “You’re going to be okay,” you whispered, trying to convince both of you. You wanted to believe it, but the fear in his eyes earlier had shaken you to your core.
He didn't say anything, but his arms tightened around you, his head pressing harder against your chest. You didn't push him to speak. You just stayed there, holding him, trying to give him the comfort he so clearly needed. But the storm in his head wouldn't stop. He needed more—needed to feel you, to ground himself in you, to find something real in his world that suddenly felt like it was falling apart.
Without thinking, Rafe shifted, pulling you down to him. Before you could process what was happening, his lips were on yours again, and for a moment, he could escape reality. At first, you thought it would be like the kisses you’d shared earlier—soft and grounding, something to pull him out of his head and bring him back to you.
So you started to respond instinctively, heart beating a little faster. But it wasn't enough for Rafe. The panic clawed at his chest, and his kiss grew desperate, frantic, as if he could pour everything he couldn't say into you. Rafe thought maybe this was what he needed. Maybe you were what he needed. Because it had always been you. The only person who saw him, who really knew him.
Your breath hitched, heart pounding in your chest. You couldn't deny what it did to you—the way your stomach flipped, the way your hands instinctively gripped his arms as his lips moved against yours. You couldn't ignore how your feelings for Rafe had grown into something far more complicated than friendship. But this wasn't right. Not now. Not when he was like this.
"Rafe," you murmured against his lips, hands coming up to his shoulders to gently push him back. He resisted for a moment, his desperation endless, but then he pulled away, his eyes wide and glassy as they searched yours.
"y/n," he whispered, his voice cracking. For a moment, Rafe just stared at you, your hesitation hitting him like a punch to the gut. You weren’t rejecting him, not really. He could see the worry in your eyes, the care. You were right, but it still shattered something inside him. This wasn't what he needed right now. And it wasn't what you deserved, either.
"You need to rest," you said softly, stroking his cheek with your thumb. "You're not doing fine right now, and that's okay. But this—it's not right like that."
He stared at you, his expression crumbling as the reality of your words sank in. He'd come here hoping to escape the weight of what he'd done, hoping that you could fix him the way you always had. But nothing could fix this. His chest heaved, and then, all at once, he broke.
A raw, heart-wrenching sob tore from his throat, and he dropped his head into his hands, his entire body shaking. Your heart ached at the sound of his sobs, and you reached for him immediately, pulling him into your arms again. He clung to you, burying his face in your shoulder as his cries wracked his body.
“I'm sorry," he muttered, his voice muffled and strained as his chest felt heavy. "I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have come here. I shouldn't have-"
"Stop," you interrupted gently, your hand threading through his dirty blond hair. "Don't apologize. You're allowed to feel, Rafe. I'm here." Rafe tried to believe you, tried to hold onto your words, but the guilt was suffocating. “I shouldn't drag you into this," he said, his voice breaking. "I shouldn't have put this on you.”
"Shh," you whispered, holding him tighter. "You just need to breathe, okay?” Rafe let out a shaky breath, his tears soaking into your shirt as his sobs began to calm.
You kept holding him, your heart breaking for the boy who had always seemed so untouchable, so invincible. You could feel all his shame, his guilt, his fear, and you wished you could take it away, even just for a little while.
Rafe shifted slightly, his arm wrapping around your waist like he was afraid you might disappear. “Don’t leave me,” he murmured, his voice barely audible. “I’m not going anywhere,” you promised, stroking his back in slow, soothing motions. “I’m scared, y/n,” he admitted finally, sobbing into your chest, “Of what I’ve done. Of what I’ll become. That I’ll be like him.” You shook your head, “You’re not your dad,” you said firmly, your arms tightening around him.
He’s not like Ward. He can’t be. You didn’t care what Rafe had done or how messy his world had become. He wasn’t a monster. He couldn’t be—not the boy who used to sneak you ice cream when you were sad, who called you every time he was having a bad day because he trusted you more than anyone else in the world.
But as much as you wanted to save him, a small, nagging voice in the back of your mind whispered that this might be bigger than both of you, but pushed the thought away, pulling him closer. “We’ll figure this out,” you whispered. “Together.” Rafe didn’t respond, but his grip on you tightened slightly, his breathing slowing as he finally started to relax. He didn't deserve you—your loyalty, your care, your softness. But for now he let himself trust you.
You stared at the ceiling, your mind racing even as your body stayed still. You didn’t know what you were to each other, didn’t know what might happen after this night or what was up with Ward, and maybe you never would. But right now, Rafe was yours to protect, and that was the most important thing.

So when a hasty knock pounded against your door, you were apprehensive. Finger resting flat against the side of your gun as you looked through your peephole. Unsuspecting a familiar face at this hour.
“Hotch?”
Aaron Hotchner. Your supervisor and Unit Chief. Bags under his eyes heavy with lines mapping his face. Lips pierced tightly into his mouth as his doey brown eyes looked at you. A small bit of stubble decorated his jaw. You examined his body making sure he did not have anything physically wrong with him. Noting his lack of work attire. T-Shirt with a zip-up over it along with some jogger pants and tennis shoes. Far more casual than you ever saw him.
“May I come inside?”
You stepped back into your home, allowing him to pass by you. Scent of his cologne overwhelmed your senses. Musky, with some sweeter hints underneath. Closing and locking the door behind you. Placing your gun back into its holster and hiding it in its usual spot.
“Is everything okay?”
Your hand rubbed your neck as you watched him look around your place. It was dark and silent. You made it a routine to read before bed. Curled up under your soft, yellow lamp on your couch. Just getting to the end of the latest chapter when you had been taken aback by the noise at your door.
Hotch’s silence worried you. Brow resting heavy upon his head as his fists clinched at his sides. Fearing he had some extremely troubling news to share with you. His disheveled hair and lack of formality clued you in that he had come over after something happened.
“Hotch…?”
You trailed off as you closed the distance between you. Hand flattening against his back with your question. Turning to look at you over his shoulder. Orbs glossy and sad. Your expression dropped when you saw the tears staining the corner of his eyes. Never having seen your boss like this. It tugged at your heart.
“Oh, Aaron…”
“Can I… stay here tonight? I can’t be alone in that house another night,” Hotch’s voice was soft and broken. Fighting off showing his emotions to you. Expression as if he had just seen someone kick his puppy. Urge inside you wanting to caress his face and pull him into a hug.
Divorce was hard. Even for someone as cold and stoic as Aaron Hotchner. It was far worse when a child was involved. Throwing his mundane life through the wringer. Ripping away the semblance of normality he had.
“Of course,” your fingers trickled down his arm, “Can I get you anything?” Offering as he slumped into your couch.
“Just some water,” his shaky voice had your stomach doing flips. Hurrying into the kitchen to hide your flushed expression. Pouring him a small cup and sitting it on the table in front of him. His neck strained backward as he rested his head. Admiring how the soft glow of your living room highlighted his jawline.
The two of you sat in complete silence. You fidgeting with your own hands. Pinching and rolling your fingers. Watching Hotch’s broad chest rise and fall with each deep breath he took. His nostrils flaring with slight irritation. Clearly defeated and tired. Unable to properly rest on his own.
Sighing heavily as he sat up. Leaning forward to grab the water. Drinking nearly half the glass in one go. It was strange seeing him here. On your couch in some ordinary clothes. Feeling like ordinary people momentarily. Hotch’s face fell into his hands. Rubbing along his worry lines.
“Hotch—“
“Y/N, I—“
You spoke at the same time. Awkwardly smiling as you cut each other off. Soft, unsure chuckles vibrating off your walls. Your hand planting itself against Hotch’s arm as you leaned forward, “Is there anything I can do to help?”
Hotch’s sorry eyes blinked towards you. Eyebrows curved and mouth frowned. Same glassy stare from before returning. Nodding slowly, “I’ve been so lonely…” Your arms raised as Hotch laid his head in your lap. Unsure where to place your hands. Blushing at the intimacy your boss was seeking in you. Unable to deny the feelings swimming around your chest for him.
Resting one hand on his head and the other softly lying against his arm. Fingers petting his hair, stiff locks slowly softening. His hand came up and interlocked fingers with yours against his arm. Pulling your hand closer to his face. Cheek resting against it, a soft peck of his lips gifting itself there.
Your heartbeat rang in your ears. Trying your hardest to steady your breathing. To stop the shaking of your hands. Warmth engulfing you from where each part of him touched you.
Intimacy was not something anyone in the BAU ever got from Hotch. An occasional hug after something may have endangered someone. His tended to be spoken. Not physical. So this was a strange new feeling.
Not helping with the under-the-table feelings you had been harboring for Hotch for so long.
“Y/N…”
There was a whine on his tone that made your head spin. Your fingers tightened in his hair instinctively. Gripping on to something to support the pulse that radiated in your lower half. His brows knitted together at the feeling, his mouth hanging open slightly.
“Yeah?”
You swallowed the lump in your throat. Loosening your grip. Going back to gently petting him. Trying to calm yourself down.
Hotch turned, reaching his arm up to cup your face. Thumb tracing against your cheek. Dark pupils looked into yours. Admiring your face. Pushing himself up to meet your lips. Capturing you in a deep kiss.
Surprising you.
“A-Aaron…”
You stumbled. Not wanting him to do anything he would regret. Eyes scanning his for some semblance of— Regret? Fear? Hesitation? Something?
“Please…”
Aaron’s sultry voice and the feeling of his large hand against your face had you melting into him. His wanting tone begging you. Puppy dog eyes looking into you. Lips finding yours again. Pulling your lower lip between his. Tongue wanting to explore your mouth. Allowing him to pin you mostly against the couch with his torso. Thick fingers tangled in your hair. Holding you close to him as he latched onto you.
Pulling away for only a moment. Looking into each other’s eyes. Seeing nothing but desperate desire in his.
“You look so beautiful in this light,” Hotch gently pushed your hair behind your ear. Watching your face redden and lashes fluttered at his compliment. His lips planted on your neck, hand gripping the back of your head. Sucking and licking softly against your skin. Trailing along your pulse. No doubt, leaving soft purple marks behind. Nothing that would not fade or be easily covered by makeup, of course. Just enough for you to feel how badly he wanted you.
“Aaron…” you began, wanting to tell him how you were not some cheap hookup to help him get over his wife. How you needed to be something more than that with him. Confessing all your pent up feelings for him. How heavily they had been lying on your shoulders. And that you wanted this, just more special.
But.
When Aaron looked up at you with his big, sad brown eyes every thought you had disappeared. Consumed by how pathetic and desperate he looked. Disheveled hair and shiny lips sending you into a feral state.
You mouthed attempting to find the words. Losing every semblance of a thought as you watched his eyes dart between your eyes and lips. Hand coming up to cup his face. Nuzzling into your grasp as he stared at you. Warmth from his cheeks heating up your palm.
“Are you just wanting an outlet?” the whisper escaped your mouth without thought.
“No… I just want you,” Aaron whispered back. A soft confession of his true feelings. Leaning in to kiss you once more. Tongue parting your lips to lap into your mouth. Deepening the kiss as he sat up further. Attempting to shift so that he was pulling you onto his own lap. Shuffling around each other until your legs straddled him.
Long, thick fingers rubbed up your exposed thighs. Resting against your hips. Doeing his eyes up at you. Hands resting on his shoulders as you sat upon him. Enjoying the weight of you on his body. His hands danced under your loose fitting shirt, feeling your soft plump skin. Running up to squeeze at your breasts. Softly pinching at your nipples through your bra. Hotch sighed, hint of a smile on his face.
Gentle hands splayed across his chest. Fingertips tracing the zipper until you were pulling it down. Helping him remove his jacket, throwing it onto the floor. Leaving him in only a tight, white shirt. Muscles accented by the short sleeves and dim lighting. Lips falling against his jugular. Featherlight kisses scattered across his skin. His own hands gripping onto your back tightly. Shortly finding the clasp of your bra and undoing it.
Coarse fingertips hooked around the hem of your shirt, pulling it and your bra off in succession. Hotch’s hands gripped your back. Awestruck by the look of you above him. Nipples hardening when the cold air washed over your body. Softly cupping his cheek as you leaned in to kiss him once more. A groan vibrating through his throat when your breasts pressed against him.
“I’ll do whatever you want, Hotch,” you spoke into his mouth.
Corner of his mouth curved into a grin. Eyebrows still pressed tightly together as if he was still unsure. Not completely convinced on why he came here. Just knowing his body craved yours tonight.
“Take me to your bedroom,” Hotch breathed out. Not demanding, simply asking. Pleading eyes locking into yours.
You rose off his lap. Standing before his disheveled state. Legs spread wide with a tent pitched between them. Heating up your face when his body followed yours like losing contact with you physically hurt him. Interlocking fingers to guide him down the hallway. Smiling over your shoulder at him.
Allowing him into the room first, closing and locking the door behind you. His body was quick to pin yours against the door. Knocking the air out of your lungs momentarily. Strong hands squeezed at your softness. Pulling a moan from you when his rough fingertips pinched at your nipples. Leaning down to capture the bulb between his lips. Muttering curses and his name under your breath.
“Please, Y/N… I-I need you,” Hotch mumbled against your flesh. Hands trailed the waistband on your shorts.
“How do you need me?” You kissed his jawline.
“On top, please…” he trailed off. Moaning when your hand flattened against his erection. Fingers gripped around him, gently stroking his shaft. Hotch became a whimpering mess in your hand. Eyes squinted shut and mouth hanging open. You led him back against your bed step-by-step. Back of his knees buckling when they met the mattress. Resting up on his elbows to continue looking at you.
Thumbs tugged at your waist, pulling down your shorts and panties. Causing Hotch’s breath to tighten in his throat. Seeing you in your full nudity leading to his clothes feeling obscenely tight. Practically ripping his shirt from his chest.
Kneeling down before him. Hotch’s bare chest heaved. Melting expression stirring around your stomach, finding itself nestling between your legs. Manicured fingertips played at his waistband. Hotch craned his neck back, adoring the feeling of your hands on him. Steadily, shaking hands pulled his joggers down his legs. Revealing the outline of his erection in his boxer-briefs. Mouth watering sight before you.
"Oh, God, please," Hotch begged with a broken voice. Your lips kissed against his stomach directly above his underwear. Traveling down to be kissing the length of his shaft. Hatch's legs bounced with anticipation. Finally, you removed his underwear from his body. Cock bouncing free. Thick and swollen, with a drop of pre-cum decorating the head. Throwing his boxer-briefs somewhere on the floor as you straddled his waist. Passionate hands dug into your waist. Completely slack jawed as he took in every inch of you.
"Y-You... you're incredible," Hotch breathed out, eyes finding their place in yours again. Shining in the moonlight that beamed in through your barely opened curtain. Your cheeks burned at his compliment. Unable to deny the full faced smile that overtook you. Blushing at his soft expression.
You hovered directly over his cock. Nose to nose with your boss. Kissing him again before resting your hips against his. Cock gliding through your slick folds as you capture it between your bodies. Hotch moaned at the feeling of your warmth, "Oh, Y/N."
You grinded down on him, lathering his member with your arousal. Shaky gasps escaped him with each move of your hips. "Please, please," Hotch stammered with squinted eyes, "I need to be inside you, now."
Hand lined him up with your entrance. Sinking down slowly as to adjust to his girth. Your face contorted in pleasure at the feeling of him stretching you. Calling out his name when you were flush against his body. Large, brown eyes stared up at you. Face flushed and agape as he watched you rise and fall onto his cock again. You swallowed the lump in your throat as you found a perfect rhythm. Chanting his name over and over again as you rode him.
Hotch's hands grasped under your thighs, helping you get higher off him. Sloppy sounds filled your silent bedroom. Mixed in with the grunts and moans that escaped you and Hotch. Sound of slapping skin rang in your ears.
"Perfect," Hotch sighed breathlessly, finally relaxing his neck and head onto the mattress. Your nails dug into his chest, arching your hips to allow him deeper inside you. Panting as you hopped up and down. Lost with how perfectly his cock hit every spot inside you. Running your hand down the front of yourself, fingers finding your sensitive clit. Circling it.
"Aaron," you whined when he hit that spongy spot deep inside that had electricity shooting through your nerves.
"I love when you say my name," Hotch grunted. Your insides constricted with his deep, sultry voice. Causing him to rut his hips upward, chasing the feeling.
And you swear you had never had someone this good. As if his cock had been made perfectly for you. Almost like Hotch already knew your body. Knew how to make it feel good and how to get you there. He had you seeing stars.
"Can I cum inside you?"
His shaken voice pleaded. Feeling himself twitch and grow more sensitive knowing his end was approaching. Not wanting to lose the sensation of you wrapped around him.
"Please, Y/N."
You nodded viciously. Feeling your own orgasm preparing to wash over you as the familiar tightening in your stomach returned. Bottoms of your feet tingled with heat as you moaned above him. Looking down to see his puppy dog eyes doeing up at you. As if he had never seen anything as beautiful as you in his life. Admiring every single piece of you. Never wanting to leave you.
A few more swirls of your fingers had your insides clamping around Hotch. You fell forward, holding onto him for support as you shook. Moaning into his ear, his name a mantra from your tongue. He held you tight against him, bottoming out inside you as you finished around him. "So good," he praised into your ears.
Hotch continued the movements you had been doing. Thrusting his hips up into you, clearly chasing his own high now. Forcing a squeaky whine with each snap of his hips. Strong fingers dug into your back as kept you flush to his chest. Angled hips causing your sensitive cunt to spasm. Few more before he was shooting up into you. Filling you to the hilt with his seed, keeping his hips firmly pressed into yours. Trembling as he finished.
Lying in silence other than both of your panting. Refusing to move from the position you were in. Cock halfway softening inside you. Your nose was tucked into the crook of his neck. His hands gently rubbed up your back. Enjoying the feeling of your bodies still tangled together. Hearts beating in sync. Minds consumed by thoughts of the other. The world fading around you.
Hotch planted a kiss on the side of your head. Causing you to lean up and look at him. Being greeted with a smile that caused you to blush. Somehow still making you feel flustered even after fucking you. As if you were not lying completely nude against him. Nestling your face back into his neck to hide your heated cheeks. Hotch chuckled at your embarrassment.
"Thank you," Hotch broke the silence.
"You don't have to thank me," you smiled against his skin.
Hotch hummed in response.
You remained like this for several minutes. Drifting off, the late hours catching up with you.
"Let's get under the blanket," you shivered with the chill of the room hitting your warm skin.
"Don't wanna move," Hotch's sleepy tone made your stomach do a flip.
"Come on," you pushed yourself up. Causing his member to slip out of you. The two of you wincing at the sensation. Hotch groaned at the lost of your body heat. Reaching up for you as you crawled up to the pillows. Finally rolling to meet you under the blanket. Nestling under the bedding together.
Hotch wrapped his arms around you. Getting as close to you as possible. Engulfing you in his warmth. You wrapped your own arms around him. Limbs tangling together as you found a comfortable position together.
You felt yourself falling asleep in his comfort. Hoping that in the morning this would all be a happy memory you shared. Begging for him to still want you by daybreak.

TOUCH
Summary: Jason likes it when you touch him. You're hands are warm.
Requested: No
Warnings: None
Female reader
Jason likes it when you hold him.
When you touch him it makes him feel warm. Soft in a way he's never really felt before. He finds himself seeking it out most of the time.
His hands settling on the dip of your waist, leaning into the deftness of your fingers toying with his hair were common, everyday things.
It made him feel fuzzy, and he couldn't help the way he'd relax into you like a lazy cat, kissing the tips of his fingers like he was thanking you for the warmth they brought.
It was raining today, the sky was blocked out by the dark clouds, and towering buildings. The streets slick with the pouring water left the pair of you tucked into each other comfortably.
Jason has his hand pressed against the mid of of your back as you rested your head against his chest, tracing slow soft patterns into the fabric of his shirt.
He looks down at you, examining the way the lamp light shadowed over your delicate features. The ones he loved to admire so. Adored to the core of his being.
His free hand comes up to trace the line of your jaw, drawing your attention.
"Hm?" You hum softly in question, and he gives you a squeeze, kissing the tip of your nose with a small smile.
"You're so pretty, you know that?" Jason remarks, pecking you on the lips.
You chuckle softly, chasing his lips for another kiss, "I'd argue you're the prettiest." you tease.
"Oh yeah?" Jason says amusedly, nuzzling into your neck contentedly, the scent of your perfume a familiar comfort, "I dunno, baby... That seems like a bit of a stretch, but if you insist..."
"That tickles, Jason." You huff with a soft laugh, shifting to sit up, only for Jason to squish you back against his chest.
He shakes his head, his eyes fluttering closed as he holds you close like a teddy bear, "Baby, don't get up." He sighs, wrapping both his arms around your waist, "I'll be so lonely. I'll freeze to death or something."
"Jay, it is not that cold in here. You're not going to freeze." You remark, rolling your eyes at his petulant whining, "I'm hungry, I wanna make a sandwich."
Jason shakes his head, keeping you tucked against him, "Starve."
"That's not very nice." You whisper, noticing the heavier rise and fall of his chest as he dozes comfortably.
In this moment Jason was content, with you close, and comfortable and warm on top of him. God, you made him soft. Just one look at your face made him soft.
"I'll make you something later." Jason huffs, squeezing you tightly, "Let's just nap for a while."
"Promise?" You hum, kissing along his cheekbone with an amused smile.
"Anything for you, sweetheart." Jason whispers back, bringing your hand up to press a kiss to your knuckles, then your palm, your wrist, and up until he gives you a proper kiss.
"I love you." You say sweetly, smiling against his lips.
"I love you too, baby." Jason says quietly. And he did. With his heart and soul he adores you.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Travelling for the week to attend a conference meant that Zayne had a fairly packed schedule. However, the days always passed excruciatingly slow when he was apart from you. He did make the effort to keep in contact. Nights were reserved for calls with you, even if it was only for an hour or so before tiredness overcame him. However, waking up without you curled beside him meant he could never really shake off the fatigue. When the day finally came for his return to Linkon, Zayne’s heart stirred as he passed the familiar streets of the city, all leading back to you.
To properly welcome your boyfriend back, you arrived at his house ready with sweets and affection. You were neatly arranging a plate of macarons from one of Zayne’s favourite patisserie when the doorbell chimed. You hurried over to the front door, your slippers tapping against the polished floors. A holographic intercom appeared showing who was outside.
Zayne wore his classic black dress shirt and pants, the shirt having its top button undone to reveal his collarbone. The small rolling suitcase beside him held a familiar luggage tag that you decorated for him.
“Observing me through the intercom?”
Zayne voice was crackly through the microphone. His head was cocked in light amusement, staring directly into the camera. He knew your MO far too well. You tapped on the button to allow your voice to be heard.
“You always need to check whether the person at the door is who you’re expecting,” you answered, watching his holographic image.
He blinked away with a soft smile tugging at his lips. “Then, I hope I’m the right person.”
You closed the intercom and unlocked the door, meeting him face to face. To Zayne, seeing you at last was like feeling the sun warm his skin up in the morning. You presence urged him awake, and he felt his liveliness return once more. You were grinning, joy sparkling in your eyes as you spoke,
“Mhm, you’re the right one for me.”
Without speaking, Zayne opened his arms out, almost guided by some kind of gravitational pull towards you. His arms circled your waist as he rested his head against yours, breathing in the faint, perfumed scent of shampoo. You cradled against his chest and his heart stuttered. It felt so natural, like you were always meant to be in his embrace. A sigh fell from his lips, complete relief at being able to hold you again.
After a few content moments, he pulled away, straightening himself. He realized he hadn’t showered yet and needed to do so before anything further happened.
You closed the door as Zayne walked inside. He immediately noticed the plate of macarons on the table, the washed and fluffed pillows on his sofa, the bouquet of fresh flowers sitting in a glass vase. Traces of your kindness that he had missed dearly.
“I’ll wash up first.” Zayne said, before entering his bedroom. “Don’t worry about my luggage, I can sort it myself.” He collected a set of loungewear from his wardrobe and a towel before disappearing into the bathroom.
You sat on the sofa to wait for him, scrolling through Moments posts on your phone. Your gaze kept wandering towards the plate of macarons in front of you. They looked too enticing for you not to try. Surely Zayne wouldn’t mind if you had a little taste first.
As if on cue, he appeared, towel in hand as he dried off his hair. He caught you with a sheepish expression on your face and a half-eaten macaron in your hand. You quickly placed it back on the plate as he loomed over you. If there was anyone serious about sweets, it would be him.
“I’m sorry I tried it without you, they were just—”
Zayne tossed the towel to the side and leaned in, stealing your apology from being spoken.
A familiar warmth blossomed between you as his lips captured yours. A week was far too long and he had spent much of his downtime thinking of this exact moment. His gentle hands cupped your face as he moved in closer still, raising his knee up to rest by your thigh.
“Zayne!” you voice was a squeaked muffle as your head met the back of the sofa, the soft backing cushioning the impact.
“Mhm,” he answered in a low tone, enjoying the way you said his name.
His tongue pressed between your lips—coaxing you to satiate his hunger. You parted your mouth, giving him permission to indulge. Zayne wasn’t someone you’d describe as spontaneous, yet times like these always caught you off guard. Though, it definitely wasn’t unwelcome. Admittedly, you had been craving this in his absence also.
He pulled away, admiring the flush on your cheeks as if you had been in the shower instead of him.
“Strawberry matcha,” he said, subtly licking his lips. He could taste remnants of a mild earthiness combined with fragrant berry. “Is my guess correct?”
You let out a breath of disbelief, realizing his move had another motive as well.
“It is, but you know you can pick up the macarons yourself to eat,” you replied with a pout, covering you mouth with the back of your hand.
“I’d prefer to have a different dessert first.” Zayne grasped your wrist and interlocked his fingers with yours. Moving your hand away, he saw your gaze flicking from his eyes and lips. “If that’s alright with you.”
You quickly nodded. He kissed you once more, smiling against your lips as you melted into his touch. Sorting out the luggage and eating the macarons could wait until a little later.

Ranking the Reptiles of Vintage Men's Magazines
Men's pulp magazines have some of the wildest paintings for their cover art, and some of those feature lizards. Let's rank them!
We are NOT ranking these on accuracy or believability, we are ranking these on how much fun I, your good friend kaijutegu, find them to look at. These were never trying to be accurate. They were trying to sell magazines. Also I'm not allowed to critique human anatomy or we will be here all day.
This man is beset by wantons who ruined a nation! These dragons he's crawling with took him for a one-way ride, and now he has to pistol whip them until they stop biting his leg. I love how these lizards have more than a hint of rhino iguana to them, as well as the Crystal Palace megalosaurus. A tier.
This man looks shocked to discover that sex can be fun. I know, I don't believe it either. The snakes are interesting- I really love the lurid green fangs and tongue on the guy in front, but I would like to see more. B tier, I'm just not all that into it but I am intrigued.
NOW we're talking, this cover has it ALL. Come to beautiful san antonio where our women are clearly wearing skin-colored shirts underneath their regular shirts so they can breast boobily without worrying about a nip slip and our turtles are pissed. S tier.
This cover gets points for the painterly style, but loses them for the rude-ass man. The sex queen of Sicily and the cannibal crocodile they couldn't kill were just having a nice dance, and along comes this man and... how did he make that shot actually? B+ tier.
See that crocodile in the foreground? My lizard makes the exact face when she's begging for sushi. A tier.
There's something so charming to me about the way GIVE ME BACK MY ARM is phrased and like, two of you are going to get what it's pinging in my head but bear with me. Back in the day (literally 20 years ago at this point, jfc), the USPS put out this "put yourself in my shoes" safety notice about controlling your dog, and the goons over at Something Awful got hold of it and decided to have some fun with it and one of the remixes they made, the thing that started a whole big ol' meme thread that got turned into a CG post, was this one:
Something about the GIVE ME BACK MY ARM reminded me of this. Anyways I loved that thread, A tier, thanks for the memories.
I know I said that these were never meant to be accurate, but look at this one, the guy CLEARLY was looking at a reference for this alligator! Don't know why he drew the glottis like that, though. A tier.
Oh this, this I love. Incomprehensible snakes taking their babies on a field trip? Adorable! A tier!
The tongue doesn't go in the glottis. D tier, I know I said they weren't trying for accuracy but come on.
These selfless lizards know that this man is unfit for married love and are trying to rescue that woman from an awful fate. She's going to wed that man, but she's making a huge mistake, and they know it and they're powerless to stop her- but they're gonna try, by god. This is Good Luck, Babe! but with lizards instead of Joan of Arc at the VMAs. It's fine, it's cool, S+ tier.

thinking about how bf!quinn would be the kind of guy who gets so caught up in the sweetness of a moment he'd propose on a whim 😭
Quinn had been thinking about it for weeks. Brainstorming. Worrying. Overanalysing. He wanted to make it perfect — the kind of moment that felt special, like it could only belong to the two of you. He’d imagined romantic dinners, candlelight, maybe even something elaborate on the ice, but none of it had felt right. It wasn’t you. It wasn’t him. It wasn’t... this.
And standing there in the doorway, watching you potter around the kitchen like you belonged there, like the space wasn’t just a room but an extension of you, it hit him. The way your shoulders swayed slightly as you hummed along to the playlist over the speaker, the way your focus flitted from the stove to the counter and back again — completely at ease, lost in your little world.
This. This was the special moment he’d been trying so hard to plan.
Because it wasn’t about grand gestures. It wasn’t about anything more than this — you, him, and the life you’d built together in the quiet, everyday spaces that no one else saw. It wasn’t just that he loved you — that was a given. He’d been head over heels for years. It was the sharp, grounding awareness that this was what he wanted forever.
This. You. Always you.
“Hey,” you said softly when you finally noticed him, your voice warm and sweet, your smile so bright it knocked the air right out of him. “How was practice?”
You turned back to the pot on the stove, stirring casually, humming a little under your breath again like his arrival was simply a piece of the rhythm you’d settled into. So natural, so easy, so you.
He opened his mouth to answer you, but all the words slipped through his fingers like water. He stepped closer instead, his arms wrapping around your waist, pulling you against him. You melted into him instantly, the way you always did, and that was it for him. His chest ached, his heart thudding too loudly in his chest and before he could stop himself, the words just spilled out.
“Marry me.”
You froze, your hands stilling as you whipped around to face him, turning in his hold, eyes wide with surprise. “What?”
Quinn didn’t backpedal. Didn’t stammer or try to explain it away. Instead, his hands settled more firmly on your waist, grounding himself in the warmth of you, his thumbs brushing over the fabric of your shirt. His gaze held yours, steady but so full of tenderness it made your breath catch.
“I mean it,” he said, his voice steadier than he thought it would be, his hands tightening on your waist like you might vanish if he didn’t hold on tight enough. His lips quirked into a nervous, lovesick smile. “I want this forever. You, me, all of it. Marry me.”
You stared at him for a second, like you were trying to process the words, and then a laugh bubbled out of you — half disbelief, half pure joy.
“I—I…” You trailed off, the shock slowly giving way to something softer, your hands coming up to rest against his chest. “Quinn, are you serious right now?”
“As serious as I’ve ever been,” he murmured, leaning closer until his forehead rested gently against yours. His breath was warm, his voice softer than you’d ever heard it. “I just love you. Just want you. This — for my whole life.”
Your heart did something impossible — flipping, twisting, and soaring all at once. Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, your chest tightening with the weight of everything you felt.
You nodded, your lips tugging into a smile so wide it ached, your voice trembling as you whispered, “I love you too.” You kissed him, your hands skimming up to his shoulders, arms looping around his neck. Pulling him close, holding him there.
And suddenly, it clicked for you too. The spontaneity, the simplicity, the way he was looking at you like you were the only thing in the world that mattered. It was so him. So perfectly him. Your heart said yes before your lips could catch up.
When you finally whispered it out loud, the word tumbling from your mouth against his, his entire body seemed to relax, his arms tightening around you as though he couldn’t bear to let go. A quiet laugh of relief escaped him, warm and low, and he kissed you again, his grin so wide against your lips it crinkled the corners of his eyes.
It was a moment so simple, so unassuming, and yet it carried the weight of everything you’d built together. This. The way his hands fit against your waist, the warmth of his smile, the way your heart seemed to hum in time with his — it was all this. The love you’d fallen into, the life you were building, the certainty that there was nowhere else in the world you’d rather be.
This was it.
This was forever.

Not Just Friends
Summary: Eddie flirts with Steve constantly, and Steve flirts back. The lines start to blur, and Eddie gets all in his head about it, until he sees Steve with another guy and realizes that their weird little game was never that special at all. Or...maybe Steve's just a dumbass.

“Family Video, this is Steve.”
“Hey, hot stuff, wanna make a big mistake?” Eddie asks.
“You sure it wouldn't be a small mistake?” Steve shoots back with zero hesitation.
“What- I'll have you know, it would be a very big mistake, Harrington. Extra large, ok? Ok maybe not extra large but definitely large,” Eddie insists.
“Eddie,” Steve sighs, “did you call me this morning for a specific reason or are you awake with the sun for once on accident?”
Eddie clears his throat. He’ll never get over how easily Steve accepts the flirting. It makes him wonder what's going on in that pretty little head. Did he think Eddie was joking? Did he secretly like it?
“Do you want a movie or something? I'm free tonight,” Eddie asks, fiddling with the phone cord.
“What makes you think I'm free tonight?”
“The fact that you're never doing anything?”
“Jesus, Munson. Or something.”
“What?” Eddie asks.
“I work at a movie store. I watch movies all day. No movies. I want the something.”
“It's a date,” Eddie dares to say.
“Whatever you say,” Steve says. Eddie can hear the smile in his voice just before the line goes dead. He feels a little accomplished, even if all he did was invite the guy over. Something he did every week at this point. But hey, this was progress, right?
He turns to look at the clutter in his bedroom and recalls the expression in Steve's face when he saw how dirty his old mattress was.
He starts cleaning.
About an hour later, when he's been thoroughly sidetracked with reorganizing the miniatures on his dresser, he hears a knock at the door. He flings the bedsheet into something nicer than the crumpled mess it had been and rushed to the door.
“Welcome to my humble abode, your highness,” he says with as he opens the door. Steve's fanning his shirt, sweat dripping down his forehead, but still waits patiently for Eddie to get out of the way like the perfect little houseguest. When he does, Steve beelines straight for Eddie's bedroom. He strips his shirt off and collapses on the bed under the window AC, basking in the cool air.
“Damn, Harrington, I see how it is,” Eddie says, then he squeaks when Steve balls up his shirt and tosses it at his head.
“Can’t you buy me dinner first? I'm feeling used,” Eddie jokes.
Steve pats the bed next to him. “Lay down next to me.”
Eddie listens, because he's a hopeless fool. He leaves some room between them, since he's already been coming on kind of strong today and doesn't want to scare Steve off for real. But then Steve closes the gap and rests his head on Eddie's chest.
He says something. Eddie's not sure what it is because he's too busy trying not to do something stupid like pulls steve on top of him and squeeze him as tight as he can.
“Hmm?” Eddie asks, when he realizes Steve is silent again.
“I said, do you want to turn on the radio?”
“Oh! Why didn't you say so?” Eddie asks with a nervous chuckle.
“I did,” Steve says.
Eddie balances on his elbow and awkwardly stretches to reach the radio without jostling Steve's head. He's starting to form a cramp in his wrist from twisting it all wrong just to reach the thing when the weight on his chest lifts and suddenly, a shirtless Steve Harrington has one arm braced by Eddie's head and the other reaching across him.
Eddie stares at the hair on his chest, the dusty nipples right within reach of his mouth, the little moles dotting across his skin, tanned from whatever it was he willingly did outside in the summer heat all day.
“Got it,” Steve says, and suddenly Madonna’s singing in the background.
“You changed the channel,” Eddie complains distractedly. His palms are sweaty. He's hoping and praying that Steve won't look at his face and see whatever expression he's making because just knows it's going to be embarrassing. And apparently the man upstairs is on his side because Steve just lowers himself right there, right onto Eddie's chest.
“Your heart is racing,” he says.
Eddie can feel it, just like he can feel the rise and fall of Steve's chest with every breath, and the way his fingers curl around the hem of Eddie's t-shirt.
“Because you're so heavy,” Eddie scolds lightly, using the opportunity to touch the bare skin on Steve's back. He lets his hands linger there, and then decides to take a bigger risk and indulges a little, running his hand down his spine and then back up again to the soft hair at the nape of his neck. It's gotten a little long. He wonders if Steve's planning on growing it out as he plays with it.
“You know, people make fun of her, but Madonna is actually really talented. Did you see her new music video on MTV? She really knows how to stick it to the conservatives,” Eddie rambles. He's not sure why he's saying it. He respects Madonna, but he's more nervous of Steve realizing how weirdly intimate this position is and punching him in retaliation, or something.
“Yeah?” Steve asks. Eddie can feel his mouth moving against him as he speaks. And then, just because Steve is for some reason compelled by the universe to drive Eddie insane, he says, “I bet you could do better.”
Eddie tries not to scream.
~.~.~
Steve calls him next time. Doesn't even introduce himself, like he knows that the mere sound of his voice commands Eddie to do his bidding.
“Hey, man. Want me to pick you up after work?”
Eddie's never been one to need a plan to agree to something, but obviously he's going to say yes. Steve could invite him to sit in the ocean as the tide went up and he'd be perfectly fine doing it.
“Sure,” he says casually. He tries to think of what else to say, but before he can, Steve's already hung up.
Eddie got a new job through Wayne's buddy at the local parks and rec center, cleaning up and maintaining their public spaces. It's outside, which practically burns his soul through the mandatory jumper he has to wear in the summer heat, but he likes that people leave him alone. The town still doesn't trust him, but he puts up with it for Wayne and the kids.
And Steve.
He stands outside and waits next to the tiny building his boss does all the paperwork in, blocking the sun from his face with his hand until he sees that familiar BMW rolling towards him.
“Did you have a good day?” Steve asks, because he's genuinely nice like that.
“Eh,” Eddie says as he climbs into the passenger seat, “I had to wash vomit off a slide from a kid's birthday party. I've had better.”
Steve's nose wrinkles with sympathy. He's got the windows down, probably because it's hot as balls outside, but it's whipping his hair all over the place. Eddie wants to reach over and fix it, but he's not so sure Steve would like that. He's so distracted by it all that he doesn't even notice they're pulling to a stop on the road that backs up to the quarry.
“What's going on?” Eddie asks.
Steve smiles wickedly.
“Wanna smoke?” he asks.
“Oh?” Eddie says, lifting an eyebrow. He didn't expect that. Especially since it's his weed Steve's asking to smoke.
“You asking or offering, Harrington?”
“Both,” he says coyly, pulling a spare joint from his box of cigarettes. It's one Eddie gave him a few days earlier. He lights up and passes it over, his hand hovering in the short space between them. Eddie stares, thinking about how Steve's lips were just on the end of it, and now his lips are going to be too. It's kind of like a kiss, in a way. The idea makes him blush.
“So…is this how you treat all the girls, big boy?” Eddie teases.
“What?” Steve asks. He doesn't sound angry, so Eddie keeps pushing.
“A secluded parking spot in the woods at dusk, some weed, windows down. All we're missing is a little music and it could make a guy fall in love,” Eddie says, holding a hand to his heart.
Steve turns the keys in the ignition, bringing the radio and AC back to life.
“One can only dream,” Steve says with a wink that has no business being as smooth as it is.
And God, how Eddie can dream. He wonders yet again, if Steve is really this oblivious to their little game.
Steve turns the car back off and runs a hand through his hair like he does when he's thinking hard about something. Eddie can only hope it's that he's suddenly realizing that he's into men. He takes the joint, willing himself to stop thinking of foolish things.
With the car off, and it's starting to get disgustingly warm, so he focuses on that instead. Focuses so much on it that he ends up peeling the top half of his jumper off revealing an old ripped Metallica shirt.
“I'm sorry we couldn't save your guitar,” Steve says suddenly.
“Hmm?” Eddie asks. He meets Steve's eyes in the rearview mirror. Steve's staring at his shirt. “Oh, it's ok. I mean, it isn't, actually. I'll miss that thing until the end of time. But that's kind of the point, right? I can miss it because you guys saved my life, so, it's fine.”
He's rambling, because it feels ungrateful to feel sad about the loss of his guitar. His baby. His one and only.
Steve places a comforting hand just above his knee. It's warm, and weirdly intimate enough that it shakes Eddie out of his mournful thoughts.
“It's ok to be sad, man. You were pretty cool with that thing,” he says.
Eddie can't process Steve Harrington telling him he looked cool and touching his thigh at the same time. It's simply too much for him to handle. He takes another hit, keeping his mouth too busy to say something embarrassing.
“I never got to see you perform. I mean, I saw a bit of your show in the upside down, but nothing else,” Steve says.
I can play something for you sometime,” Eddie says, before he can think it through.
“You'd do that for me?” Steve asks. Which is a stupid question. Eddie would obviously do anything for Steve.
His hand is still on Eddie's thigh. Guys don't usually do that, do they? Was Steve flirting with him for once? Without provocation?
“Yeah, I've got another guitar. It's an acoustic, but it does the job.”
Steve's quiet for a moment. Long enough that Eddie focuses back on his fingers slowly tapping his knees, like he's thinking something through.
“You want to go swimming?” Steve asks.
“... really?” Eddie asks, surprised that Steve would even want to after everything that happened with the upside down. Steve seems to understand, because his expression softens and then he shrugs.
“I think it would be easier if someone went with me,” he says softly.
It occurs to Eddie that this must have been Steve's plan the whole time, and maybe the weed and talk of guitars was just a distraction. It's honest and vulnerable enough that it makes him feel a little honored that he held Steve’s trust. He can't say no to that, so he agrees before he can even ask about swimsuits.
Steve releases his knee and climbs out of the car, walking toward the Quarry with a look over his shoulder to check if Eddie's following. Eddie wipes the sweat from his brow and looks up just in time to see Steve removing his shirt.
He can't look away, and that's how he gets the shock of his life when Steve removes his jeans too.
“Oh- uh,” Eddie stutters.
Then, off goes the underwear and Eddie's got an eye full of a round, tan, Harrington ass.
At this point, the sun is setting and Eddie doubts anyone could see them in any amount of detail. But he doesn't know what to do with a naked hot dude right in front of him. Does he touch? He wants to touch. But Steve is confusing, and touching might not go well. Instead of standing around like a lovesick dumbass, Eddie wolf whistles and dramatically fans his face.
“Well, I'll be damned, Harrington. Maybe you're the extra large between the two of us!” he says, even though he can't actually see Steve's dick with him turned around. Steve completely ignores him.
“Come on!” he says, rushing toward the shoreline. Eddie quickly decides that he likes Steve enough to get naked with him, even if it's not in a sexy way. He kicks off his boots and leaps toward the water with a shout.
~.~.~
Steve’s got his head resting in the spot between Eddie's thigh and hip bone, competing for space next to his guitar as Eddie plucks away songs he knows he'd recognize.
“You're so talented,” Steve says, for the millionth time that night. He's repeating it over and over, pushing Eddie's ego sky high.
“I just play what I hear,” he says humbly.
“I can't even sing what I hear,” Steve says with a little laugh. He's got his legs hanging over the edge of the couch, feet tapping along to the best as Eddie plays.
“It's not that hard. I can show you, if you want,” Eddie says.
Steve looks up at him through his hair. “Really?”
“Get up, buttercup, and I'll give you a short lesson,” Eddie says.
Steve lifts himself away from Eddie and sits up on the couch, shoving Wayne's favorite pillow into the floor. Eddie decides the pillow can survive the disrespect and shoves the only remaining shard of his shattered musical soul into Steve's arms. Steve holds onto it like it's made of glass, which is a good first step in Eddie's opinion.
Eddie moves Steve's fingers into the correct position to play Yesterday, which is kind of setting a beginner up for failure with the bar chords.
“Move your other hand like this,” Eddie said, mimicking the strumming motion. Steve tries and fails. Eddie grabs his hand and tries to help, but he still doesn't get it. His brows are furrowed cutely as he focuses hard on the strings like they'll make it all work out for him.
“Let me show you,” Eddie says, pulling Steve so his back is pressed against Eddie's chest. He wraps his arms around him, pretending that being this close doesn't make him want to kiss the top of his shoulder and bear hug him until they fall asleep. He laces his fingers through Steve's, helping him feel exactly where to go.
“Your fingers go here, and your other hand moves like this,” he says over Steve's shoulder.
It's impractical and isn't teaching Steve anything. He just likes the feeling of Steve against him, the way he accepts Eddie's hands against his without any weird looks. Eddie hums the lyrics, a bit unable to stop himself because the song is a classic, until Steve lifts their hands away from the guitar and curls his fingers around Eddie's, looking at them closely. Steve pulls Eddie's hands close to his face and twists one of his rings, rubbing his thumb against the pad of Eddie's left pointer finger. He wishes he could see his expression.
“Is this what girls mean when they talk about guys that play guitar?” Steve finally asks.
Eddie laughs, sharp and loud, which makes Steve shoulder him away.
“Don't shout in my ear,” Steve complains.
Eddie scoots back on the couch, still laughing. Steve rolls his eyes and plucks at the guitar with his thumb.
“How often are girls telling you about guys that play guitar?”
“I mean, they talk,” Steve shrugs.
“Oh yeah? What do they say?” Eddie teases, “that you're not doing a good enough job?”
Steve looks up at him sharp. No smile.
“They tell me how it feels,” he says.
Eddie pauses, brains scrambled, because Now he's imagining Steve describing how it feels and it goes straight to his dick. Which is awkward because they're sharing the same couch and Eddie isn't exactly sitting with his legs crossed.
Still, he wants to know more.
“How- uh- what do they say? About how it feels?” he stammers, shifting a little further from Steve. He's feeling a little hot under the collar, and he knows he's really pushing the limits, but he can't help it. Not when Steve's right there, egging him on. Because that's what this is, right? He's not alone in this. Steve has to know what he's doing.
As if to answer Eddie's silent question, Steve scoots closer, squeezing the guitar between them as he leans in, face only a few inches from Eddie's. His knee is digging into Eddie's crotch. If he moves his hips, he's sure Steve would learn just how little Eddie’s playing around.
That makes him feel even hotter.
He can feel a puff of hair against his face as Steve laughs lightly, face splitting into a perfect, teasing smile. Steve grabs Eddie's hands and places them around the guitar, fingers brushing against his forehead a moment longer than necessary.
“I don't kiss and tell, Munson,” he says, and then he gets off the couch, leaving Eddie hard as a rock.
~.~.~
Sometimes, Steve spends the night. He falls asleep after an hour of whispering nonsense back and forth in the dark, with his back pressed against Eddie's chest, arms curled close to his body. Then Eddie wakes up to see that Steve is already gone, like the shared heat on the mattress is just a figment of his imagination.
He tries not to let himself think it means anything. He always stays awake a moment longer, always lingering on the man in bed next to him, wondering when he'll finally be sure enough to put himself out of his misery by leaning over for a kiss.
Then, at least he'll know what this is.
This time, Eddie wakes up and it's still dark out. Someone is touching him. He turns and sees a figure in his bed, the blankets pooled around their waist.
“Eddie?” Steve asks sleepily.
“Yeah?” Eddie asks.
Now that his eyes are adjusting to the dark, he can see the outline of the moon leaning through the window blinds, turning Steve's hair stark white where the light hits it.
“You were having a nightmare,” Steve says, placing a hand on Eddie's chest. Eddie can feel his heart, frantic and stressed, under Steve's hand. “Are you ok?”
“I'm fine. I don't even remember it,” Eddie says.
Steve slumps down next to him and leans in. Something brushes against Eddie's cheek, something soft and sweet, so quick that Eddie nearly thinks he's dreamt it up-
A kiss.
Steve just kissed him.
“Goodnight,” he says softly, rolling over like it was nothing. Like he didn't just steal Eddie's heart through his lips. Eddie roughly grabs Steve and hugs him from behind, pulling him as close as possible. He wants to merge into one with this man. He wants signs of Steve across every inch of his skin. Steve makes a sleepy noise of protest, but lets it all happen, and Eddie falls asleep happy with no room for nightmares anymore.
~.~.~
“Who the fuck is that?” Eddie asks, nose scrunched up with disgust. He's just entered Steve's house for some pool party the kids bullied him into hosting, and was instantly met with the most irritating sight he's ever laid eyes upon- a handsome stranger hanging off Steve's shoulder.
“Oh, it's Steve's friend from Italy. Gabriel,” Robin says with a roll of her eyes. “I didn't even know he had friends.”
“Hey, he has us! And the kids!” Eddie says, trying to pretend he isn't watching Steve like a hawk.
“You know what I mean,” Robins says.
Gabriel.
Fucking Gabriel.
Eddie watches as Steve lingers around this other man. This man and his curly brown hair, lightly tanned skin, muscular body, and soft blue eyes. This man and his touchy hands that linger along Steve's body like they're glued together, playfully grabbing at Steve's sunglasses.
“How long has he known him?” Eddie asks defensively. He crosses his arms across his cropped Dio shirt, suddenly feeling a little inadequate in the presence of fucking Michelangelo over there.
“Since they were kids,” Robin shrugs.
Eddie's heart feels tight. He's sure he's going to melt like the Wicked Witch of the West, or something equally dramatic. Because Steve is up and close in this random man's space, in a swimsuit nonetheless, showing off his hairy tits and chatting it up like it was totally normal to be practically in someone's lap.
Which, it was.
Between them.
Some girl Eddie doesn't recognize is laughing it up with Nancy and Jonathan off to the side. She's equally gorgeous and Eddie knows right away that she must have come from Italy too.
Since when did Steve go to Italy? Was this some rich boy shit he'd never learned about?
“Eddie's here!” Dustin yells from the pool. Eddie's saved from having to fake happiness around the kids by Mike tackling Dustin from behind. He's probably drowning or something, but Eddie's not too concerned because somewhere, music is getting louder and fucking Gabriel is pulling Steve up to dance. Steve and Gabriel move like it's second nature, laughing and a little too close, a little too much hip movement for it to be guys being guys.
Eddie didn't know Steve could dance. He didn't even know Steve liked disco.
Why does it suddenly feel like he doesn't know Steve at all?
“Whoo! Those two are always like that,” the pretty girl says with a lazy smile. Nancy and Jonathan don't seem too shocked to see Steve acting like this, which is another sign that Eddie is a gullible fool.
“Are you alright?” Robin asks. She sounds worried. Eddie's not looking at her. He's watching Steve plant a kiss on Gabriel's cheek after their stupid little dance stops.
Eddie isn't alright.
He feels like an idiot.
He thought they had something special, but it turns out that Steve is just…like that.
He turns and walks into the kitchen, so he can work through his shame in peace. That way, he can behave like a normal human long enough to make an excuse and leave in favor of crying into his ratty trailer pillow that probably still smells like Steve and his stupid hairspray.
“Whoa, what's wrong?” someone asks.
It's Steve, of course. He's standing at the kitchen door, looking at Eddie with genuine concern. His sunglasses are pushed into his hair, artfully keeping it out of his face. He looks behind himself and closes the door before walking up to Eddie, getting in his space.
Eddie steps back.
“I didn't see you get here. You look sick, are you ok?” he asks.
Eddie wants to say that he's fine, but looking into Steve's eyes makes everything worse. Much to his horror, he feels a lump forming in his throat and a familiar burn forming in his eyes. He tries to blink it away, but that just makes a premature tear roll down his cheek.
Fuck.
Steve steps even closer and lifts his hands to Eddie's face, gently holding him, brushing the tear away with his thumb. And now that it's started, he can't make it stop. Eddie starts to cry even harder.
“Is it Wayne? Did something happen at the trailer?” Steve's asking, appearing to genuinely care.
“No,” Eddie says.
“Are you hurt?”
“No!”
“Did someone-”
“No, no, no! Steve, just stop!” Eddie says, elbowing his way free from Steve's grasp. He feels a little bad about it, when he sees how hurt Steve looks. But he feels too shitty to care much about anything at the moment.
“You're crying, Eddie. Can't I help?”
“You've done enough, honestly,” Eddie says.
“What do you mean?” Steve asks.
“Dude, are you really that dense?”
Steve kind of shutters at that, and then Eddie really feels bad. He's made an ass of himself and now he's being an ass too.
“Just- stop, ok? Go back to your Italian boyfriend,” Eddie says.
“Huh? Gabe?” Steve asks.
Oh, so they have nicknames now?
“Whatever his name is,” Eddie grumbles, even though he knows it's going to be impossible for him to forget that name for the rest of his life.
Steve scoffs for a second and then shakes his head. “Are you mad that I have other friends?”
Eddie can't believe it. It's the worst case scenario. Steve didn't know. Somehow, Steve was completely oblivious to Eddie's feelings. There was no game between them. Eddie had made it all up in his head. Steve's just an oblivious flirt. He was matching Eddie's weird, lovesick energy.
God, how embarrassing.
“No, Steve,” Eddie says, already done with the conversation and ready for the consequences, “I'm mad that you're flirting with this dude after weeks of flirting with me!”
Steve looks shocked. Like he would've expected maybe a week after the upside down, back before this all began and he didn't know Steve that well. Turns out, he never knew Steve.
He just thought he did.
“I- I wasn't flirting with you,” Steve says with a nervous little laugh.
“You slept in my bed and kissed me on the cheek. You rubbed your knee against my dick during our guitar lesson.”
Steve's just staring at him like all of this was in Eddie's head, which makes him feel even more defensive.
“You said you knew how it felt to get fingered!” he hisses.
Steve's cheeks go bright red.
“Oh my God, I've been flirting with you,” he says. He lifts a hand to his forehead, like the information is too much for his head to handle.
“You also- well- I mean…yes?” Eddie says, not really sure what's happening anymore. He's so confused that his tears have stopped. Steve takes a step closer.
“You've been flirting with me,” he says, pointing at Eddie.
Eddie nods.
“And I've been flirting with you,” he says, pointing at himself.
Eddie nods again.
“I was flirting with Gabriel! Do you think he's into me?” he asks, pointing at the kitchen door.
Eddie's frown is severe.
“Sorry, no. Forget I said that. Eddie, I think I have a crush on you,” Steve says with wonder in his voice.
It's Eddie's turn to blush now. He's witnessing Steve realize he's into men. Specifically, that he's into Eddie. Steve paces around the kitchen, combing a hand through his hair in that way he always does when he's thinking hard about something. Eddie recognizes it because he does know Steve, after all. Maybe a little better than Steve knows himself. Steve's cheeks are still bright red and he's breathing kind of weird. It's very strange, to watch someone come out to themselves.
And then Steve starts to cry.
Eddie rushes forward just as Steve leans back against the countertop and curls into himself.
“Hey, no, no, no, it's ok. You're still you,” he says, pulling Steve into a hug.
What the fuck is happening?
“I made you cry,” Steve says.
“It's ok,” Eddie says, rubbing his back, “you'll get used to it.”
“I don't want to get used to making you cry!” Steve whisper-shouts.
“No, I mean that you'll get used to being into men,” Eddie says.
Steve pushes Eddie back a hair and looks him in the eyes.
“Why would I need to get used to it? It's obviously true. I'm upset because I've been such a dick to you,” he says softly.
Eddie just stares at him. He wonders if Steve is ok. Maybe this is what a breakdown looks like? Funny, how quick their mental states flipped during this conversation.
“Steve, it's ok to freak out a little. When I first realized I was into men, I cried until I threw up,” Eddie says.
Steve leans in and kisses him on the cheek, right at the corner of his mouth. It's so light and quick that for a moment, Eddie's not even sure that it happened. It makes his heart flip twice over.
“I'm not freaking out. I'm just trying to figure out how to make it up to you.”
Eddie lifts an eyebrow. Steve's fully serious. He's dried his face and is wrapping his arms around Eddie's back, brushing his hands against the belt loops in his jeans.
“Wow, you're serious. You genuinely-”
Eddie's cut off as Steve pulls him into a real kiss. The kind of kiss he'd seen in movies, sweet but also kind of hot. Eddie wants more. He crowds Steve against the countertop and runs his hands down over that ass he couldn't stop thinking about since seeing it in person, grabs his thighs just under his swim trunks and lifts, pushing their bodies as close as possible.
Steve has one hand tangled in Eddie's hair, steering his head to the side, and another gripping around his back pocket, pulling Eddie's hips right into his.
Eddie can't believe it. Steve's kissing him. He's rolling his hips into him.
Steve chose him over fucking Gabe!
Steve pulls their bodies even closer than Eddie thought possible, and Eddie can feel every detail of his dick hardening against him through his jeans. It leaves him breathless, desperate to drop his hands from Steve's warm torso and under that swimsuit so he can feel it in more detail. Steve's not so shy. He's driving Eddie crazy with his hand sliding around his zipper, lifting up to the hem and back down again.
“Eddie,” Steve gasps into his mouth as he starts fumbling with the button.
Eddie’s experiencing something religious with Steve's tongue when a shout breaks them apart.
Eddie leaps halfway across the room before bothering to look around to check that nobody is there. He turns back to Steve, who's watching him carefully.
“I think it's just the kids. We should probably go back outside,” he says.
“Yeah,” Eddie agrees reluctantly. Based on the look Steve's sending his way, he feels the same. He jumps down from the counter and walks over to the door, then pauses.
He turns to Eddie and says, “You should sleep over tonight.”
“Ok,” Eddie says, feeling his cheeks go warm again as he tries not to assume anything after an afternoon of assuming things, “I like your guest room, it's got a really comfortable mattress-”
“In my bed,” Steve clarifies.
“Ok!” Eddie squeaks. “I could run home and grab something to sleep in-”
“Naked,” Steve says bluntly. Then he seems to realize something, because he looks away from Eddie like he's embarrassed. “I mean, unless you don't want that. No pressure. I have something you can borrow-”
“I want that,” Eddie interrupts.
Steve smiles. He flicks his sunglasses back over his eyes and leans in to kiss Eddie one last time, short, and promising more for later. As he opens the door, Eddie spots Gabe lounging around with that pretty girl and gets an idea. He shoves past Steve and smacks his ass on the way by, smiling at Gabe, just to cement his victory.
“Damn Harrington, feels as good as it looks,” he says. Gabe looks completely confused. Steve rolls his eyes.
“Don't get addicted,” Steve says.

છ don’t you think rafe is scary?
── ✦ .ᐟ reader seeing rafe threaten someone
maybe you shouldn’t have followed rafe. he did tell you to stay put. that he was going to handle something. but you got bored. and wanted to see what rafe handling something looked like. well now you know.
your eyes widened as rafe pulled the firearm from his back pocket, slightly tapping it against his thigh, almost letting the guy in front of him become aware that he has it. not that he was going to use it.
the guy glanced at it, taking a step back, and raising his hands. you saw rafe tilt his head, and the guy went, scurrying away from the house.
you didn’t expect rafe to quickly turn around, halting when he spotted you through the glass. you straightened, glancing to the side, failing at pretending you weren’t looking. because really, you didn’t see anything. the interaction didn’t get violent. you knew rafe kept one on him sometimes. you weren’t shocked.
rafe walked in, speed walking towards you. he grabbed you, hands running over your body and head. “hey kid, what are you doing out of bed? i told you to stay”
you bit your lip, looking hesitantly up at rafe. “i.. got bored of being in there without you..”
you glanced out the window to where rafe and the guy stood just minutes before.
he followed your gaze, sighing. “how much of that did you see?” he slightly bent to your height, fiddling with his shirt you were wearing. you shrugged.
“not much.. just the..” you mimicked the tap rafe gave to his thigh. he smiled softly.
“i didn’t.. scare you or anything with that.. did i?” rafe’s intense gaze showed that he was nervous for your answer. if you were actually scared of him, he wouldn’t know what to do. the last thing he wanted was for you to worry in fear about him. he only wanted you to feel safe with him.
you shook your head rapidly. “mm mm.”
rafe immediately shook his head. “words, baby. did what i just did out there scare you a little? you can be honest, i won’t get upset..” only with himself.
“no, rafe..” you giggled. “i mean.. did he deserve it? was he not nice to you?” a pout started to form at the idea of the guy being mean to rafe.
rafe rose an eyebrow, softly nodding at you. “he did.. i only do that with people who cause a problem..but i understand if you didn’t like watching it”
you tilted your head, grabbing rafe’s. “i’m not scared of you, rafe”
he exhaled a small breath. “don’t say what you think i want you to..”
you shook your head again. “no, i like your.. protectiveness. that’s all it is. it’s very admirable” you nodded definitely.
rafe gazed at you “you’re the only person who truly knows me” he spoke softly.
you smiled at him. “of course. but you..” you tapped his nose. “..you should’ve known i wasn’t scared. there’s nothing you could do or say to draw me away..” you leaned closer.
“..kinda stuck with me” you frowned sarcastically.
rafe rose to his full height, pulling you into his chest. “i like it like that. you’re not getting away”
you smiled at him, wiggling in his arms.
“oh..rafe i can’t..” you slightly wiggled again.
“hm?” he replied, seemingly oblivious, grip getting tighter.
you sighed, accepting he wasn’t letting go. literally or figuratively.

secret of us III - joe burrow
summary for a moment, it feels like joe belongs in the spaces he once left behind. but the question lingers: is this the moment everything changes, or does it mean more than either of you are ready to admit?
content angst, fluff?, slow burn
part two
Golden sunlight slipped through the half-open blinds, scattering across the kitchen in soft streaks that danced on the countertops. The low murmur of Joe’s movements drifted through the air, blending with the gentle sizzle coming from the stove.
He stood there, relaxed, one hand holding the pan’s handle while the other absently twirled a spatula between his fingers. His shoulders shifted, broad and unhurried, a quiet assurance in the way he held himself. The gray shirt he wore clung to his back, every stretch of fabric mapping the muscles beneath, pulling taut as he leaned forward to shift the pan.
Your gaze lingered, drawn to the way the shirt bunched slightly at the hem where it met the waistband of his sweatpants, soft folds giving way to the shallow rise and fall of his breathing. When his hair caught the light just right, the edges faintly glowed golden as he tilted his head.
He shifted his stance, weight rolling onto one leg, and the loose hang of his sweatpants shifted with him, drawing your attention in ways you knew you shouldn’t let it. Still, you couldn’t look away.
The heat in the room felt heavier now, a slow creep that settled along your neck and cheeks. You swallowed hard, trying to pull your thoughts back to neutral ground, but the way he stood there; effortless, like he belonged on the cover of something glossy and unattainable — made it impossible to think straight.
“Are you just going to stand there staring?”
His voice cut through the quiet, carrying a teasing lilt that seemed to settle somewhere deep in your chest.
Your eyes snapped up, cheeks flushing as you gripped the edge of the counter behind you with one hand. “I wasn’t staring,” you blurted.
He turned slightly, just enough for one eyebrow to quirk up, his expression caught somewhere between amusement and a silent dare.
“Sure, sweetheart,” he drawled, his lips curling at the corners before he turned back to the stove.
Sweetheart. The word lingered in the air, curling around your chest like a velvet ribbon. It sent a faint flutter through you every time, the kind that made it hard to lull your breathing. It shouldn’t have felt so natural coming from him, but somehow it did.
Like it had been waiting all along, just for you.
The warmth of the coffee mug in your hand did little to soothe the nervous energy buzzing beneath your skin. You tried to focus on the rising steam curling from the cup, but your attention kept wandering back to him: the subtle flex of his arm as he flipped the pancake, the way the light caught his jawline when he tilted his head, the shadow of stubble deepening the sharp lines of his face.
“You’re burning it,” you said, breaking the silence just to distract yourself.
He let out a low chuckle, the sound rich and smoky as it coiled through your chest. “I don’t burn pancakes,” he said matter-of-factly, turning off the burner with a confident flick of his wrist.
“Debatable,” you shot back, though your voice lacked the sharp edge you were aiming for.
He didn’t respond immediately, letting the silence stretch out just long enough for your pulse to quicken. Slowly, he set the spatula down on the counter, wiping his hands on a dish towel with unhurried care. Every motion felt purposeful, like he was waiting for you to fill the quiet… or break under it.
When he finally turned, his eyes found yours without hesitation. There was still a trace of amusement dancing in their depths, but it was fleeting, giving way to something heavier. His gaze dipped for the briefest moment, lingering somewhere between your lips and the curve of your neck before meeting your eyes again.
The air seemed to shift, growing thicker, and your grip tightened on the edge of the counter. It felt as though the room itself had folded inward, pulling him closer without a single step, the space between you thrumming with unspoken tension.
“Come here,” he said, his voice softer now, almost a murmur.
You hesitated, gripping the mug tighter as if it might shield you from the heat in his gaze. “Why?”
“Just come here,” he said again, and this time, his lips curved into a small, knowing smile.
Your feet moved without thought, the ground beneath them feeling less like solid tile and more like water, each step slow and unsure. The butterflies wrapped themselves around your limbs, making it impossible to ignore the tug towards him.
When you reached him, he didn’t hesitate. His fingers grazed the handle of your mug, their touch feather-light but enough to send a quiet tremor through you.
“You’re going to spill this,” he murmured, his voice low as he gently slipped it from your hands.
“I’m not—” you started, but the words fizzled out when his palm found your waist, the warmth of it bleeding through the fabric of your shirt.
The contact wasn’t forceful, but it rooted you in place, the heat of his hand traveling up your spine and settling somewhere near your heart. Your breath hitched, pulse stumbling over itself as his fingers flexed slightly, grounding both of you in the moment.
“You’re impossible,” you muttered, your gaze darting to the floor, the counter, anywhere that wasn’t him.
“Am I?” he asked, the faintest smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. His other hand moved slowly, brushing back a stray strand of your hair. The backs of his fingers lingered near your temple, just long enough for a shiver to chase its way down your arms.
The weight of his stare pulled at you until you finally gave in, tilting your head up to meet his eyes. Whatever teasing had been there moments ago was gone now. His expression was steady, intent.
An unspoken invitation that sent heat rushing through your veins.
“You don’t know what you do to me,” he murmured, the words slipping from his lips like a confession.
The energy between you shifted, filled with something that buzzed just under the surface. You felt it in the space between his hand on your waist and the slow exhale against your skin, each sensation threading its way through your chest and coiling tightly.
His forehead brushed against yours, and for a moment, the world stilled. His breath was warm, fanning over your lips as though the space between you wasn’t enough to contain him anymore.
“I don’t want to mess this up,” he whispered, his voice catching slightly, as though the weight of the words made them harder to say. His hand tightened at your waist, anchoring himself there, tethering him to you. “Not with you.”
The ache in his voice mirrored the one blooming in your chest, raw and unyielding.
“Joe,” you began, but your voice faltered as his nose brushed against yours, the closeness cracking whatever composure you’d managed to hold onto.
And then he kissed you.
His lips pressed to yours with a softness that untangled every thread of hesitation. It wasn’t rushed, more intentional, like he was savoring something rare. Each soft press of his lips carried the weight of everything he couldn’t put into words.
The curve of your lips, the subtle movement of your fingers, the faint tremor in your hands as they came to rest against him — each detail etched itself into him, like he was determined never to forget how this moment felt.
His other hand slid lower, settling at the small of your back, pulling you closer. The warmth of him seeped into every inch of you, leaving no space untouched.
It felt… right.
Too right.
The kind of right that scared you, because it couldn’t be real.
The golden light dimmed. The warmth of his hands faded.
You gasped, your eyes snapping open.
The room was steeped in darkness, the faint buzz of your alarm the only sound grounding you in reality.
Your heart pounded against your ribs, each beat a sharp reminder of where you really were.
It was just a dream.
You rubbed at your eyes, the memory of it still clinging stubbornly to the edges of your imagination, like cobwebs you couldn’t quite shake. It lingered, teasing you with the warmth it had conjured, even as reality crept back in.
When you finally sat up, your gaze landed on the small stack of neatly folded blankets tucked into the basket by the window. They hadn’t been there yesterday, or even last night, for that matter.
Joe’s doing.
He’d been leaving small things for you lately. Nothing grand or showy, just quiet gestures that seemed simple on the surface but meant more than they let on.
Like the bouquet of wildflowers he’d left on your porch last week, tied with a simple twine bow and a note that read, Still like these?
Or like last night.
He’d shown up after practice, still in his hoodie and sweats, a paper bag of takeout clutched in one hand. You hadn’t expected him to stay. He never had before. Usually, it was a quick knock, a quiet exchange, and then he’d disappear.
But this time was different.
When he stood there in the hallway, rain dripping from his hair and the faint scent of his cologne lingering in the air, he hesitated, his eyes holding yours for a moment too long.
“You should come in,” you’d said, surprising both of you.
His brow furrowed slightly, uncertainty flickering across his face. “Are you sure?”
You nodded, stepping aside. “It’s raining, and I can’t eat all of that by myself anyway.”
He followed you in, his movements careful, his gaze scanning the room like he wasn’t quite sure he belonged anymore. It wasn’t until he set the bag down on the coffee table that you noticed the mess; blankets strewn across the couch, books piled precariously on the end table.
“Sorry for the mess,” you muttered, brushing a hand through your hair and gesturing vaguely at the disarray.
Joe’s lips twitched, the faintest smile threatening to break free. “Doesn’t look messy to me,” he said, though his gaze lingered on the rumpled blankets for just a second too long.
You settled onto the couch beside him, the takeout containers spread between you. It was your favorite meal from a tiny hole-in-the-wall spot halfway across town. The kind of place that wasn’t exactly convenient for anyone, let alone someone like Joe Burrow.
But here it was, still warm, the smell wafting through the room and filling the space between you.
“Long day?” he asked, handing you a pair of chopsticks.
You nodded, taking them from him. “Yeah. You?”
“Same,” he said, his voice low and steady. He picked at his food, his posture more relaxed than you’d seen in weeks, though his eyes kept drifting back to you. “Thought this might help.”
Between bites, the two of you talked. Light, easy conversation that felt like slipping into something familiar, something you hadn’t realized you missed so much. The words came effortlessly, the silences between them comfortable.
At one point, you stood to clear the containers, carrying the empty ones into the kitchen. The quiet hum of running water filled the space as you rinsed them, taking your time. It gave you a moment to breathe, to process the emotions his unexpected presence brought along.
When you returned, Joe was still sitting on the couch, his hoodie draped over the armrest. But there was something about the way he glanced at you, just the faintest shift in his expression. Subtle enough that it might have gone unnoticed if you hadn’t been looking.
There it was: the faintest hint of a cheeky smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
“What?” you asked, narrowing your eyes as you sank back into your spot beside him.
“Nothing,” he said quickly, though the slight curve of his lips and the glimmer in his eyes said otherwise.
You didn’t press him, brushing it off as you stifled a yawn. Joe noticed, leaning forward to grab the empty takeout bag. “You should get some sleep,” he said softly, the quiet insistence in his voice leaving little room for argument.
“Thanks for dinner,” you said as he opened the door, your voice softer than you intended.
He glanced back at you, his smile small. “Anytime.”
And then he was gone, leaving behind a stillness that felt anything but peaceful. And the quiet ache of something missing. Something Joe had taken with him when he left
You hadn’t even thought to wonder what he’d done while you were in the kitchen, half-asleep on your feet.
But now, seeing the blankets carefully arranged in the basket by the window, you could picture it: Joe, quietly gathering them while you were too tired to notice, carrying them to your room and tucking them away like it was second nature to him.
The realization sent a pang through you, sharp and bittersweet.
It wasn’t just the food or the flowers or the folded blankets, it was what they meant.
No expectations, no demands. Just Joe, trying in his own way.
The neatly folded blankets in the basket stayed in your peripheral vision as you went about your morning, but they never left your mind.
Neither had Joe himself. The way he’d always shown up, quietly taking up space in your life in ways that felt impossible to ignore.
You hated how much you noticed. How much every little thing chipped away at the walls you’d built.
By the time your phone buzzed with a message from Mia, the thoughts in your mind had become too much to carry alone. “Coffee with everyone at 10? You’re coming, right?”
You stared at the screen for a moment before typing back: “I’ll be there.”
The café was already bustling when you arrived, the sounds of stray conversations and the smell of freshly brewed coffee wrapping around you like a cocoon. Mia was easy to spot, already seated at your usual booth, her phone in hand.
“Finally,” Claire said with a dramatic sigh as you slid in across from her. “You’re late.”
“I’m not late. You’re early,” you shot back, your lips quirking into a faint smile as you reached for the menu.
“Relax,” Lily said, nudging Claire lightly with her elbow, her tone ever the mediator. “We’re all here now. That’s what matters.”
You all settled in and placed your orders. For a few minutes, the conversation stayed neutral: work updates, a brief discussion about a mutual friend’s latest relationship drama, etcetera.
But then Mia set her cup down, her expression softening as her gaze flicked to you. “So,” she said carefully, “how are you holding up?”
You hesitated, your fingers tracing the edge of your cup. “I’m fine,” you said eventually, though the word felt thin. “It’s just… complicated.”
“Joe,” Claire said flatly, letting out a little groan.
Mia shot her a look. “Be nice.”
“I am being nice,” Claire said, but her tone left no room for doubt about where she stood. “He disappears for who knows how long, doing God knows what, with who knows who, and then he just shows up with flowers and whatnot, expecting everything to go back to normal? I’m sorry, but no.”
Lily sighed, leaning back in her seat. “It’s not that simple, Claire.”
“Exactly,” Mia said, her voice calm but firm. She turned back to you, her expression softening again. “Look, I’ve known Joe a long time. And yeah, he’s an idiot. But he’s your idiot, you know? He’s been different lately. He really cares about you.”
You frowned, your grip tightening slightly on your cup. “He has a funny way of showing it.”
“I’m not saying you should forgive him overnight,” Mia said gently. “I just think… he’s trying. Even if he doesn’t always get it right.”
Claire rolled her eyes. “Okay, but what about you? What do you need right now? Because I think you deserve to be around someone who knows how to treat you properly.”
Her words hung in the air for a moment, and then her face lit up with sudden inspiration.
“You know what?” she said, leaning forward with a conspiratorial grin. “We’re going out. All of us. To that new bar downtown.”
You raised an eyebrow. “I don’t know…”
“Nope, no arguments,” Claire said, already pulling out her phone. “And I’ll invite a friend. You’ll like him. He’s sweet, funny, and emotionally available. Imagine that!”
Mia’s eyes narrowed slightly as she glanced at you, but she didn’t say anything, her silence speaking volumes.
“C’mon,” Claire said, undeterred. “It’ll be fun. Just a night out with friends. No pressure, no drama.”
You sighed, already feeling the weight of their combined stares. “Fine,” you said finally. “But only friends — no setups.”
“Of course not,” Claire said with a wink that immediately made you suspicious.
Mia caught your eye as Claire and Lily launched into an animated discussion about what to wear. “I’ve got your back,” she said softly, her voice low enough for only you to hear.
The churn in your stomach came from uncertainty. It was obvious Mia was rooting for Joe, it was written all over her face. The problem was, you weren’t sure where you stood in all of this.
Mark. Mark Mahoney.
You had to fight the laugh bubbling in your chest when Claire introduced him like he was the main event at a sold-out concert.
His name alone sounded like it belonged to some mid-tier sitcom dad. The kind who cracked corny jokes and tripped over his own feet while carrying a tray of nachos.
It wasn’t just the name. It was the way Claire practically shoved him forward, her grin stretched wide enough to make your cheeks ache in sympathy, her eyes darting between the two of you as if sheer willpower could conjure a spark.
You didn’t need a crystal ball to see where this was going. It had ‘setup’ written all over it, right down to Claire’s too-casual, “You two have so much in common!”
To his credit, Mark wasn’t completely insufferable. His smile was practiced, dentist-polished and friendly. His shirt, neatly pressed, tucked into pants in a way that screamed reliable guy with a Costco membership. He was…fine.
But fine wasn’t enough.
Not tonight. Probably not ever.
Still, you played along, your responses polite but as thin as tissue paper.
“Do you come here often?” Mark asked, leaning in slightly. His voice was loud enough to cut through the din of the bar but still carried that tinge of nervous earnestness.
You nearly laughed out loud at the line, so painfully cliché it felt like a bad joke.
“Not really,” you said, glancing over your shoulder toward your friends, silently praying for Mia to intervene.
Mia, to her credit, looked like she wanted to. When Claire first chirped “Oh, you two should grab some drinks for the table! That line’s probably so much faster with two people” Mia didn’t miss a second before shooting a withering glare.
Faster? The bar was a madhouse of bodies, a blur of elbows, shouted orders, and sticky counters. Nothing about it was going to be fast.
Your jaw had tightened as Claire nudged you toward the chaos. “It’ll be fun!” she added, her face far too smug.
You didn’t even bother hiding the sharp look you sent her way. But before you could protest, Mark was already halfway to the bar, clearly oblivious to the tension simmering between you and your so-called friend.
With a sigh, you had followed, weaving through the crush of people.
The bar overall was everything Claire had promised: new, loud, and claustrophobic. Neon lights cast the crowd in a kaleidoscope of colors, shadows flickering like a pulse against the mirrored wall.
Mark leaned closer to you, raising his voice to be heard. “So, what do you think of this place?”
Your fingers drummed absently against the sticky counter. “It’s fine.”
Fine. Just like him.
Mark chuckled, the sound too loud and hollow. “Not really your vibe, huh?”
You nodded distractedly, your gaze slipping past him. The crowd shifted, a subtle ripple that felt out of sync with the music. It wasn’t unusual in a place like this, but it tugged at something in your chest — an instinct, maybe.
“Cocktail or beer?” Mark asked, pulling you back to the present.
“Cocktail,” you replied without thinking.
“Great choice,” he said, his grin bright enough to power a small city.
Your attention drifted again, drawn to the slight disturbance in the room. The air felt different now, heavier somehow, like the moment before a thunderstorm breaks.
The bartender appeared, her movements brisk and efficient as Mark placed the group’s order. You added your own, but your voice sounded distant, even to your own ears.
Mark then started on again, something about the lighting, maybe the music.
But then Mark went quiet.
Mid-sentence, his words just… stopped. You glanced at him, confused, but his eyes weren’t on you anymore.
Your stomach dipped, an uneasy flutter creeping up your spine. “What—” you started, but the words caught in your throat as you turned to follow his gaze.
And there he was.
Looming over the crowded bar, broad and steady, his presence seemed to pull the air right out of the room.
His shoulders filled out a leather jacket that looked like it had been made for him (it probably had), the dark fabric a perfect contrast to the crisp white of the shirt beneath it. The lines of his frame were striking, his stance commanding without being imposing, a quiet confidence woven into every inch of him.
But it was his eyes that locked you in place.
Stormy gray-blue, intense and searching, they carried a question that seemed to press down on you. There was something in the way he looked down at you, his jaw tight, a faint tick in his cheek betraying an edge of restraint.
He didn’t move, but the set of his shoulders and the way his hands flexed at his sides told you he was waiting for something — anything, from you.
You wanted to look away, to break the spell, but you couldn’t. Something about his gaze held you captive, exactly where he wanted you.
The noise of the bar blurred into nothing. It wasn’t the crowded bar or the too-bright neon lights or the drink sticky under your fingertips. The room seemed to fall away, leaving just him and you. Just those eyes, sharp and magnetic, pulling the ground out from under you piece by piece.
It was just him.
Just Joe.

"oh you look so pretty like this baby." you ran your fingers through his hair, tugging lightly at the roots.
he whined softly in your grasp, fingers curling into the sheets, "please- mmnh."
you watched as his flushed cock bounced against his stomach, tip still leaking cum from the last orgasm.
"eungh y/n, i- i can't- hurts so much, please."
you scoffed at his pleas, hand moving down to hold his jaw, pulling him up to look at you, "i say when you can't anymore, okay?"
he gulped, eyes watery as he looked up at him, his head nodding slowly, "yes ma'am."
a smile spread on your lips as you began to trace your fingertips sown his chest, "now be a good boy and give me one more."
.
you had been counting the minutes since you had began. 5, 10, 20, 40, maybe it's been over an hour now, your hand languidly sliding along haechan's length, his whines growing louder by the minute.
"i- i can't cum anymore- please, i-"
he writhed under your touch, thighs softly thrashing against the bed as his knuckled turned white against the sheets.
you looked down towards his cock, cum slowly dripping from his swollen tip, "oh but you just did baby, see how good you are for me? i know you can do one more."
his eyes watered as he looked down at you, a wide smirk on your lips as your thumb began to swirl against the head of his cock, "be a good boy and cum for me one more time? hm?"
you stared up at him with those wide eyes, lips slightly pouted as you began to stroke him again, his leg twitching at the sensation.
"o-okay, last one, okay?"
you giggled as you shuffled closer to him, hand never leaving his length, "don't think you're in charge now hyuckie-" you gave his balls a light squeeze, "only one more cause i said so, right baby?"
your hands moved up to stroke his length, your wrist snapping quickly as you picked up in speed.
he squeezed his eyes shut, head falling towards your shoulder as he mumbled into your skin, "y-yes, cause you said so- cause you said so- please, i'll be good, please-"
his breath was hot against your neck, tears staining your shirt as he wept into your arms, "yes- yes please- wanna cum so bad- please i promise, i'll be good from now on-"
you smirked into his hair, the smell of honey making your eyes roll slightly, "of course you'll be my good boy- don't want me to punish you like this again hm?
you heard his breath shudder, his whines muffled slightly as he rutted his hips against your hand.
"oh? so you want me to keep punishing you baby? you like when mommy plays with your cock?"
his hips lifted from the bed, hands moving to grip at your thighs as he let out a loud groan, "oh my- yes yes, i'm- please-"
his eyes were squeezed shut, mouth hanging open, as he threw his head back.
"good baby- just like that- justtt like that." your movements against his length slowed, watching as cum spurted out of his tip. you ran your hand along his length, squeezing at the head of his cock lightly, milking every last drop.
you felt his head drop back towards your shoulder, the grip on your thighs loosening, "my dick feels like its gonna fall- ow!"
you giggled as he flinched away from your grasp, your hand chasing after his softening length to continue stroking him, "one more?"
he shivered under your gaze, his cock, twitching slightly at your request.
"i'm just kidding! you're fucking insane donghyuck, seek help."
you chuckled as you looked down to see him growing hard again, an embarassed blush spreading across his chest, "but i- i can do one more."
a smirk grew on your face, "is that right baby?"

Teach You IV
Summary: Daryl can’t seem to get ahold of himself after the night you spent together. For days, you're all he can think about—your voice, your touch, the way you've unleashed a part of him he never knew existed. Nothing else matters, nothing else feels right, and when he sees you now, he knows he’s coming back for more. Always.
warnings: smut, MDNI, dirty talk, Daryl is a man possessed, pinv, oral, fingering, Daryl's POV
a/n: the amount of messages I've gotten about this fills my little heart with so much joy, you guys!!! thank you for loving what I do :')
not super proofread! sorry! will check later
The late afternoon bathes the room in golden light, casting soft shadows as Daryl watches her. She’s standing there, completely absorbed in some meaningless task—folding laundry, shifting supplies, something so mundane he can’t understand how she’s focused on it when he’s right here. She’s been taking up all the space in his mind, all the air in his lungs, and she has no idea.
Well, maybe she does. She’s the one who did this to him. The one who made him feel insatiable, so utterly out of control over his own thoughts and body.
Daryl leans against the doorframe, his arms crossed over his chest, but it’s just to steady himself. His blood is running too hot, his heart pounding too fast, and it’s all because of her. His gaze drags over her, over the way her shirt clings to her back, the soft curve of her hips, the little furrow in her brow as she concentrates. She’s so calm, so collected, like she hasn’t absolutely ruined him.
Ever since that first night—hell, every night since—she’s been all he can think about. Every time he closes his eyes, he sees her. Feels her. The way she looked at him, the way she touched him, the way she felt under him—warm and soft and his. His cock has never been this hard, not at midnight, not first thing in the morning, and definitely not all goddamn day. And it’s all because of her.
His jaw clenches as the memories flood back: her taste, sweet and heady on his tongue. The way she whispered his name, gasping and desperate, like he was the only man in the world who could make her feel that way. Taking her for the first time, the way her body shifted and shivered beneath him as he rocked into her. It was like a switch he didn’t even know existed had flipped inside him, and now he’s nothing but want, need—fucking hunger.
His hands twitch at his sides. He tries to rein it in, to give her space, but it’s useless. His thoughts are wild and untamed, like he’s been starved his whole damn life and she’s the only thing that can satisfy him. He wants to feel her again, taste her again, bury himself so deep inside her that neither of them knows where one ends and the other begins.
And she’s just standing there, so calm, so unbothered. How can she not feel it? Doesn’t she know what she’s done to him?
“Alright,” he growls, the sound low and guttural as he finally pushes off the doorframe, done with just standing by and watching her as he unravels.
Her head snaps up, her hands pausing mid-motion. “Daryl?” she asks, her brow furrowing in confusion at the intensity in his voice.
But he doesn’t answer. He can’t. Words won’t do it, won’t scratch the itch clawing at him, the fire burning through his veins. He crosses the room in a few quick strides, his movements rough and purposeful. His hands grip her waist before she can react, lifting her clean off the floor and tossing her over his shoulder like she weighs nothing.
“Daryl!” she squeals, her fists playfully tapping at his back, though there’s laughter in her voice. “What the hell has gotten into you?”
He doesn’t bother answering, doesn’t stop. He’s already heading for the nearest surface—the couch, the bed, the table, he doesn’t fucking care. All that matters is her, laid out for him, ready for him to take her apart.
When he reaches the couch, he lowers her just enough to drop her onto the cushions, her legs still dangling over the edge as he looms over her. She looks up at him, her chest rising and falling as she takes him in, her eyes widening slightly at the look on his face.
“You’ve ruined me,” he growls, his voice like gravel as his hands cage her in on either side. “I can’t stop thinkin’ about you. About how you feel. About how you taste. I can’t think straight, can’t sleep. You’ve fucked me up, woman.”
Her eyes widen, her lips parting as she looks up at him, her breath catching in her throat. She’s not used to this—him talking so much, his words spilling out in a frantic, unfiltered rush. He knows it too. Knows he can be a little aloof, a bit of a dick when it comes to talking about what’s on his mind. But she’d broken him, shattered whatever walls he’d kept so carefully constructed, and now he couldn’t stop the rambling, couldn’t stop the truth from pouring out of him.
His hands travel up her body, sliding over her sides, his rough fingertips grazing her skin, skimming over her stomach. He slots his hips between her legs, pressing her further into the couch as her thighs fall open for him.
“I—” she starts, but he cuts her off, his hands finding her waist, his touch rough but trembling.
“Please,” he mutters, his voice low and desperate, almost trembling with the weight of his need. His hands glide over her sides, brushing against her ribs, feeling the heat of her skin through her thin shirt. “I need you. Every inch of you. Right fuckin’ now. Tell me yes. Please, say yes.”
Her cheeks flush even deeper, the red blooming across her neck and chest as she stares up at him. And then, slowly, her hands lift, sliding up to rest on his chest, her fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt.
“Yes,” she breathes, her voice a soft, breathless sigh. “Yes, Daryl. Always yes.”
It’s all he needs. An inhuman noise rumbles deep in his chest, primal and desperate, as his lips crash against hers, needy and unrelenting. His hands grip her thighs, pulling her flush against him as he kisses her like a man possessed, all teeth and tongue and sheer, insatiable hunger.
"Goddamn," he mutters against her lips, his voice shaking as he pulls back just enough to look at her. His hands slide further up her legs, gripping her ass, his thumbs imprinting into the soft curves of her skin. "You've got me so fucked up. I can't think about anything else. Just you. Just this.'
His lips trail down her neck, his teeth grazing her pulse point as his fingers hook into her shorts. He doesn't wait for permission this time; he knows she's all in, knows she's just as wanton as he is. He tugs them down in one rough motion, taking her panties with them, leaving her bare and spread out before him.
His gaze drops to her center, and he groans, his head tipping back for a moment as he fights to keep himself together. "Look at you," he murmurs, his voice low and reverent,"So fuckin' beautiful. So goddamn perfect." His hands grip her knees then, spreading her wider as he lowers himself between her legs.
His breath is hot against her skin, his mouth trailing hot, open kisses along the inside of her thighs, inching closer and closer to where she wants him most. Her sex glistens for him already, the sheen of slick luring him in.
"Daryl," she whines breathlessly, her fingers tangling in his hair as her hips lift off the couch.
He doesn't answer. Instead, he dives in, his tongue pressing flat against her slick heat, dragging up to circle her clit with slow, deliberate precision. The taste of her hits him like a drug, and he groans, his hands tightening on her thighs as he pulls her closer, needing more.
"You taste so fuckin' sweet," he mutters against her, his voice muffled but filled with awe.
Her cries spur him on, her thighs trembling against his shoulders as he works her over, his mouth relentless and hungry. He licks and sucks and nips at her, devouring her like she's the only thing keeping him alive, like her pussy is the last source of water in a barren desert. He still didn’t know how to do this right, not really, but he knew what her gasps meant, knew what the shiver in her thighs told him. And God, he just wanted to keep making her feel that way. His tongue falters for a moment, unsure if he’s going too fast or too slow, but then her hips roll against him, and he takes that as a sign to keep going.
"Daryl," she whimpers, her voice trembling as her fingers tug harder at his hair. "Oh, fuck-don't stop. Please, don't stop."
Her pleading only fuels him, his tongue moving faster, his lips sealing around her clit as he slides two fingers inside her. Her body arches off the couch, her moans turning into desperate, breathless cries as he curls his fingers, stroking her exactly where she needs him. Her body responds instinctively, her words no longer coherent as her hips buck against him, riding the wave of her climax as it crashes over her.
He doesn’t stop, doesn’t slow. His mouth and fingers work her through every shudder, every breathless gasp, coaxing every ounce of pleasure out of her until she’s trembling beneath him, her chest heaving as she collapses back onto the cushions.
But he’s far from done.
She’s still shaking when his pace begins to slow, his lips pressing soft, reverent kisses to her slick heat as if to soothe her overstimulated body. Her breath comes in sharp, uneven bursts, her fingers gripping the cushions beneath her, but before she can catch her breath, his fingers curl again, pressing against that spongy spot inside her.
A sharp cry tears from her throat, her hips jerking involuntarily as the sensation sends a jolt of electricity through her.
“Daryl—” she starts, her voice trembling, but he just hums against her, his tongue dragging over her clit in slow, deliberate circles.
“Want another,” he mutters, his voice muffled against her skin, his words punctuated by the wet, obscene sounds of his mouth and fingers working her over. “Want more. Gotta see you like this again.”
Her head tips back, her body arching as overstimulation teeters dangerously close to overwhelming. “I—Daryl, it’s too much—” she gasps, but the words are lost in another moan as his fingers curl deeper, stroking that spot inside her with an almost maddening precision. If there was anything Daryl learned from their first time together, it was that he needed to know every single nook and crevice of her that made her come undone. Either with his mouth, his fingers, his cock. He was determined to learn her body inside and out.
“You can take it,” he growls as his lips seal around her clit again. His tongue flicks against her, faster now, relentless, as if her pleasure is the only thing that matters. “You’re so good for me, baby.”
Her body tightens beneath him, her nails clawing at the cushions as her thighs tremble around his head. She’s teetering on the edge again, the line between pleasure and too much blurring as his words and his touch send her spiraling. The second always comes so much faster than the first, it’s like a domino falling inside her lower belly.
She was falling apart because of him. He couldn’t believe it—still didn’t really know what he was doing—but her gasps, her moans, they told him he was doing something right.
“Cum for me,” he mutters, his voice hoarse but commanding. “Wanna feel you again. Wanna hear you,”
Her body responds before her mind can catch up, her hips bucking against his mouth as another wave crashes over her. She cries out, her voice raw and broken, her walls clenching around his fingers as she tumbles over the edge for the second time.
He groans against her, his tongue slowing as he works her through it, coaxing every last shudder and gasp from her trembling frame. When she finally collapses fully against the couch, her body spent and trembling, he presses one last kiss to her inner thigh, his lips curving into a small, satisfied smile.
As he moves to kneel between her legs again, her hands tangle in his hair, pulling him closer as her legs wrap around his waist, anchoring him to her. She’s still trembling from her release, her body pliant and warm beneath him, but she reaches up to capture his lips in hers, tasting herself on his now swollen, wet lips.
“Please, Daryl,” she says against his lips–now it was her begging him, and God if it didn’t take every last drop of restraint to wait for him to hear what she wanted next. How the hell did she look like that, sound like that, just because of him? He didn’t understand it, didn’t feel like he deserved it, but he was desperate to be worthy of her. He’d give her anything. Anything.
“What is it, baby? What do you want? Tell me,” he groans against her, his hips rutting into her, the wetness of her center staining his jeans where his bugle meets her clit. “Need you,” she whines, gasping when he drags his hips against her harder, “Please. Fuck me, Daryl.”
That’s all he needs. His hands fumble at his waistband, his urgency making his movements clumsy as he shoves his pants and briefs down just enough to free himself. His cock is already hard, throbbing and aching with need as he grips the base, positioning himself at her entrance.
He pauses, his breath ragged as he meets her gaze again, his forehead pressing against hers. “Tell me if I’m hurtin’ you,” he murmurs, his voice low and shaky.
“You won’t,” she reassures him, her hands sliding down to rest on his arms, her touch grounding him. “I trust you.”
The words send a wave of warmth through him, his chest tightening as he pushes forward, the tip of him sliding into her with an agonizing slowness. He groans, low and guttural, as the heat of her surrounds him, and her gasp mirrors his, her nails digging lightly into his skin.
This is all he’s thought about for days—taking her on the nearest surface, spreading her open, and burying himself deep inside her. The way she’d feel wrapped around him, her body clenching tight, pulling him in. But no amount of imagination, no desperate strokes of his own hand, could have prepared him for the way the real thing feels.
“God,” he mutters, his voice breaking as he sinks deeper, his hands trembling against her hips. “You’re so—fuck, you’re so tight.”
Her walls flutter around him, pulling a low groan from his throat. He can barely hold himself together, the heat and wetness of her stealing every coherent thought from his mind.
She moans softly, her hips tilting to take him in further, her breath coming in short, uneven bursts. “It’s too—too much, too big—” she breathes, her voice trembling with a mix of pleasure and something he can’t quite place.
His movements falter, his body stiffening as a rush of panic washes over him. He freezes, afraid of hurting her, afraid of pushing too far. His hips still as her words echo in his head, his hands trembling where they grip her hips. “Am I hurtin’ ya?” he asks, his voice tight with worry, his brow furrowing as he looks down at her.
Her hands slide up to cup his face, her thumbs brushing over his scruff. Her breath is shaky, her cheeks flushed, but there’s no fear in her eyes—only heat, only need.
“No,” she breathes, her voice trembling but steady. “It’s not that. I just—” She pauses, her lips parting as her head tilts back slightly. “I’ve never—never had someone so goddamn big.” Her voice breaks, her hands tightening on his arms as her hips shift beneath him. “You stretch me so good, Daryl. It’s just… overwhelming. In the best way.”
Her words send a bolt of heat straight through him, his cock twitching inside her as a low groan escapes his lips. “Jesus,” he mutters, his forehead pressing against hers. “You can’t say shit like that, woman. Gonna make me lose my mind,”
She laughs softly, the sound breathy and full of affection, and leans up to kiss him, her lips warm and teasing. “Then let me take over,” she whispers against his mouth, her fingers sliding down to his chest. “Let me show you how good you make me feel.”
He hesitates for a moment, his hands flexing against her hips. “You sure?” he asks, his voice low and rough, his gaze searching hers.
She nods, her smile widening as she cups his face again. “I’m sure,” she murmurs.
Reluctantly, he pulls back, his arms steadying her as she shifts beneath him. When his cock slips out of her, both of them hiss at the sudden loss of warmth, but she gently pushes at his chest to move up. And he moves with her, settling back against the cushions as she straddles his hips.
The sight of her above him, her body glowing in the soft afternoon light, takes his breath away. Her hands rest on his chest for balance, her legs bracketing his sides as she sinks down slowly, taking him back inside her inch by inch.
“Fuck,” he groans, his hands finding her thighs, his fingers pressing into her soft skin as his head tips back.
Her moans match his, her body adjusting to the stretch, the fullness of him. “You feel so good,” she whispers, her voice trembling as she begins to move, her hips rolling in slow, deliberate circles. “So good, Daryl.”
His hands slide to her waist under the hem of her shirt, steadying her as she sets the pace, her movements growing bolder with every passing second. The rhythm she creates is intoxicating, her body rising and falling above him, her warmth enveloping him completely.
“Let me see you,” he mutters, his voice low and reverent as his hands slide up her sides, his thumbs brushing over her ribs, his touch deliberate and worshipful. “Let me see these incredible tits, hunny.”
Her smile widens, her lips parting as her hands slide up her body, grazing over where his own rest on her waist. She takes her time, teasing, before finally gripping the hem of her shirt and pulling it over her head. The discarded fabric lands somewhere behind the couch, forgotten, as her bare skin is revealed to him.
He doesn’t wait, doesn’t hesitate. His head leans forward like he’s being pulled by some gravitational force he could never—would never—ignore. His lips find her breast, his mouth latching onto a nipple with a low, guttural groan.
His tongue flicks over the hardened peak before drawing it into his mouth, sucking softly. Hands tightening on her waist, his thumbs brush over the curve of her ribs as he holds her steady while her hips continue to rock over him.
She gasps, her fingers tangling in his hair, pulling him closer as her hips grind against his. “Daryl,” she breathes, her voice trembling with pleasure. “God, yes, yes, yes,”
Her words spur him on, his teeth grazing the sensitive bud before his mouth moves to her other breast, lavishing it with the same attention. His tongue swirls, his lips pressing kisses along the soft swell of her skin, as though he’s worshipping every inch of her.
“You’re incredible,” he mutters between kisses, his voice hoarse and thick with awe. “Fuckin’ incredible.”
Her head tips back, her moans spilling from her lips as her hips roll against him, the friction sending sparks of pleasure coursing through them both. “You’re the one making me feel this good,” she whispers, her voice thick and breathy. Her hands slide down to his shoulders, her nails grazing his skin as she pulls him closer. “This is all you, Daryl.”
Her words ignite something primal in him, his hands sliding down to grip her hips, guiding her movements as she rides him. The pace quickens, their bodies moving together in perfect rhythm, their breaths mingling as the tension builds between them.
“You’re all I want,” he mutters, his voice breaking as he looks up at her, his gaze dark and full of need. “All I fuckin’ think about.”
“I can’t stop thinking about you either,” she sighs, kissing him between breaths, “You’re all I ever think about, Daryl,” you shift your hips and panting, add: “Only man I want, that I need.”
And then it happens. The control he’s been clinging to, the restraint he’s forced himself to maintain, snaps like a taut string stretched too far. Something wild and unhinged breaks free inside him, the monster he’s tried to keep buried roaring to the surface.
Before she can even register the shift, his arms are wrapping around her, pulling her down against him so her stomach is flush to his chest, her breasts pressed into his face. She lets out a surprised yelp, her hands scrambling for purchase against his shoulders, but it’s quickly overtaken by a sharp, guttural moan as he buries himself deeper inside her.
“Daryl!” she gasps, her voice trembling as her hands cling to him, the couch, anything she can grab to stay steady.
He holds her tight, his muscles flexing as his arms cage her in, his body taking over completely. His hips snap up into her, relentless and unyielding, each thrust harder and faster than the last. The sound of skin slapping against skin fills the room, mingling with her cries and his ragged groans, creating a symphony of raw, primal need.
Her head falls back, her hair cascading over her shoulders as she screams his name, her voice hoarse and broken with pleasure. And if she wasn’t moaning loud enough to disturb the neighborhood before, she sure as shit was now. The sheer force of his movements has her teetering on the edge of oblivion, her body trembling and she takes everything he’s giving, not able to form words or coherent thoughts anymore.
“That’s right, baby.” he growls, his voice raw and unrecognizable, his hands gripping her hips so tightly he knows he’ll leave marks. “Take that fucking cock, you’re so good, so perfect for it. Like your sweet pussy was made for me,”
The words pour out of him without thought, his mouth brushing against her chest, her neck, her collarbone, anywhere he can reach. He’s barely aware of what he’s saying, barely aware of anything except the overwhelming need to take her, to claim her, to lose himself completely in the heat and softness of her. He’s never known anything like this, where the words are even coming from, where this monster in his chest has escaped from.
Her body arches against him, her moans turning into desperate, breathless cries as she clings to him, her nails digging into his scalp, pulling his hair, “Daryl—I’m—fuck, I’m gonna—”
“That’s it,” he growls, his hips driving up into her harder, deeper, his cock swelling as his own release builds. “Wanna feel you. Wanna hear you scream my fuckin’ name.”
And she does. Her body tenses, her thighs trembling as her release slams into her like a tidal wave. She cries out, her voice raw and ragged as her walls clench around him, pulling him deeper, her pleasure washing over her in uncontrollable waves.
The way she tightens around him, the way her body shakes and shudders in his arms, is enough to send him spiraling after her. He groans, his head tipping back as his hips jerk erratically, his cock pulsing as he spills into her, filling her completely.
His chest heaves as he holds her against him, his body trembling from the force of his release. They stay like that for a long moment, tangled together, their breaths mingling as the intensity of what just happened sinks in.
When he finally loosens his grip, his hands slide to her back, stroking her soothingly as her head rests against his shoulder. “You okay?” he murmurs, his voice low and rough, his lips brushing against her ear.
She nods, a breathless laugh escaping her as she lifts her head to meet his gaze. Her cheeks are flushed, her hair sticking to her damp skin, but her smile is soft and curious, a hint of awe in her expression.
“I’m more than okay,” she whispers, her voice trembling with a mix of lingering pleasure and surprise. Her fingers trail lightly over his chest, and her lips curve into a teasing grin. “But… I feel like I unleashed something in you I didn’t know was there.”
His brows furrow slightly, the flush on his cheeks deepening as he looks away, his hand rubbing the back of his neck. “Yeah, well…” he mutters, his voice rough with embarrassment. “Ain’t never felt like this before. Never had—never been like this with anyone.” His gaze flickers back to hers, unsure but steady. “Guess you… bring somethin’ out in me.”
Her eyes soften, her fingers tracing along his jaw as she tilts his face back toward her. “Something incredible,” she says softly, her smile widening. “I like it. A lot.”
His lips twitch into a small, lopsided grin, his hand coming up to cup her face as his thumb brushes over her cheek. “You… you’re somethin’ else,” he mutters, his voice low and full of affection. “Don’t even feel like the same person I was before you.”
Her heart swells at his words, her chest tightening as she leans in, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to his lips. When she pulls back, her smile is full of warmth. “Guess I ruined you in the best way, huh?”
He huffs a laugh, his forehead pressing against hers as his arms tighten around her. “Yeah,” he says, his voice soft but sure. “Guess you did.”
“S’okay,” she murmurs, her fingers trailing lightly over his shoulder. “Think you’ve ruined me too.”
The words hit him like a punch to the chest, his breath stuttering as his grip on her tightens. “Yeah?” he asks, his voice rough and low, like he doesn’t quite believe her but wants to more than anything.
“Yeah,” she whispers back, her lips curving into a soft smile as she breathes in, her forehead still against his, “Never thought I could feel like this—this full, this… complete. It’s all you, Daryl. You’ve changed everything.”
For a moment, he can’t speak, his throat too tight, his chest too full. Instead, he presses his lips to hers again, the kiss deep and slow, filled with everything he can’t quite say.

you couldn't help yourself. rationally you should've stayed in bed and waited for toto to tend to your daughter. toto was home for the holidays and he was eager to spend as much time with his little family as possible. so that meant getting up when she needed care well into the evening.
your daugther, luisa was six months old. but besides toto being there for the birth of your daughter, the schedule of racing had eaten up all of his time. he only saw the both of you over facetime calls. so he was more than willing to get up throughout the night to tend to your little girl. after all, he was proud to be her father.
you slinked out of the bedroom with sleep heavy in your eyes. but they went wide at the sight of toto with your daughter in the crook of his arm while he tried to make some coffee to stay up a bit longer. what melted your heart however, was how he spoke to her.
he spoke entirely in german to her, while your grasp on the language wasn't the strongest. but your picked up more than enough to hear what he said to her, "you are my little light, luisa. welcoming you into the world was the happiest day of my life. don't tell mama that." he chuckled as he poured the hot water into the cup, careful to keep it away from luisa's sleeping form.
toto looked handsome too. hair messed up from sleep, his white t-shirt hugged his slim form beautifully. his grey sweatpants were low on his hips. it wouldn't be hard to guess why you got pregnant so quickly after your wedding.
he looked over his shoulder as he swayed from side to side with luisa in his arms, "hello, darling." he said, "did we wake you?" it was your sign to move closer as you came up behind him slowly. he smiled in your direction as you rubbed your face up against his back. he said, "our daughter is very good at conversation." he chuckled lowly, "i see she gets that from you. i wonder if she'll have your sense of direction?"
you exhaled, "i get us lost once." and squeezed him tightly. you'd forgive him this time because he looked so good. fatherhood was a good look for toto, looked like the only time he ever was really relaxed. he took to it well, even at his age.
"will you stay with us? i'd love the company."
"what about her?"
he chuckled lightly, "well, she is asleep right now." he leaned down to kiss the top of her head, "but i'll also never say no to the company of my wife."
you smiled an eventually brought his cup to the table. the two of you sat together like a happy couple. your daughter fussed a little but toto was impeccable with keeping her calm. he loved her, just like he loved you. and you loved them both back in return, your little family.
toto's touches lingered on you however, they felt comforting and familiar as you now held your daughter. he looked good holding luisa, but you looked even sweeter with his child. you gave him such a gift. a lovely daughter.
she was finally put to bed and toto lingered in your space until you both got back to bed. then his touches grew a little more passionate. your husband wanted to feel every inch of you. feel his lovely wife. who he was proud to have married. the kisses grew as well as toto's hand was placed at your hip.
"it's been a while hasn't it? since we were intimate like this." his voice soft and warm. you felt something curl in your gut as you were laid out on your bed. the bed you shared with your husband. he ran his hands down your sides and smiled at you, "you've only grown more beautiful." he licked his lips.
you decided to be bold and take your shirt off. you didn't wear a bra to bed and toto eyed your breasts. they had filled out more since the birth of your daughter and toto liked it. your husband got your bottoms off and then your panties. you soon laid out there naked under him and he got off his clothes.
it didn't hurt that his chest was a little hairier, which was something that aroused you. you shifted under him and he admired you. there was a beauty to you that he couldn't deny him. you were his wife, his love. the mother of his child.
you giggled and he got between your legs. he licked his lips as he held onto you and lifted them a little to meet his cock. you held onto the covers under you as he sank into you slowly. you tensed up for a moment which only made toto push a little harder.
"you've made me a proud father." he said lowly, "gave me a beautiful daughter. i am so lucky to have two wonderful girls in my life." he rocked against you. he placed his hands on either side of you on the bed.
you felt a flush in your body, the heat climb through you as the two of you moved together. it wasn't the most kinky sex on the planet (that was three years ago in a club in italy), but it felt nice. domestic almost. husband and wife moving together in a sort of sexual bliss. paired together and in love. even after a child together.
he leaned in to kiss you, it felt right. there was something about it that made your stomach jump. toto was a passionate lover, the kind that made your toes curl. that was the second thing you noticed about him after his massive height. he was a protector, a lover. the kind to make you feel safe with your lover. he kissed you once more as the movements quickened.
quite a sight the two of you. one of the most wealthy men in the world, and his younger wife. the apple of his eye, the light of his life. you loved it and he loved you. you panted heavily against him and felt the fire of lust in your core. you gazed into his dark eyes as you said, "toto, please. that feels amazing."
"i love how you say my name, my angel. my darling." he said with such affection. you felt like heaven around him and made your soul sing with sexual want as the two of you made love on the bed. it felt right to make love to him, even as such an odd hour of the night.
but neither of you could help yourselves. not when the other was so alluring. you felt the pleasure in your core as the two of you continued to make love. you soon held onto him tightly when he got close enough. the kisses continued and only grew in intensity.
"my treasure." he said lowly, "every fiber of my being is in your hands, you make me feel whole. i love you."
your nails held onto his shoulders and you felt the pleasure in your core as he worked against you. it felt like a little slice of heaven as the two of you moved against one another. you said softly, "i love you, fuck. i love you toto."
"that's what i like to hear, my treasure. you feel amazing, always have and always will." he pressed into your further and watched you squirm a little under him. he felt the pleasure race through his body, it made him move further against you. he worked against you
"toto." you exhaled almost dreamily as the pleasure pumped through your veins. it was like a drug in your system as the two of you made love on the bed together. the thrusts were intense and you tensed up a little from the feeling. the fire in your core. you let out a sweet moan and he wanted to feel and hear all of you.
"my heart. my soul." he said with love in his heart, "my everything. you feel like heaven." his tone held a certain conviction. he listened to your sweet moans as the bed rocked a little against the wall.
"fuck, honey." you whimpered as he continued to make love to you on the bed. the pleasure caused you to tense up around him as he moved against you with a lustful want for your beloved. your husband.
"that's it, treasure." he said with heat in his tone. your toes curled and you held onto him a little tighter. he pressed as hard into you as he could. the kisses continued and it felt right.
you knew you were close, you held onto him tightly. he thrusted up into you, he worked your body against his and the pleasure continued to course through you. you went in for another kiss, it was deep and passionate as you clenched around him and finished around his cock.
"that's it, my treasure. so beautiful for me." he said with a sense of utter affection. he admired your blissed your expression as he continued to work your body. he let himself become engulfed in the feeling of you. he loved it, it was hot in a way that made his core throb. the feeling of your climax spurred him on to push further into you. he groaned through his tense jaw.
you said softly to him, "i love you."
"and i love you, my angel. my beautiful wife." his words were tinged with a certain feeling that left you feeling near breathless as you recovered from your intense orgasm. he continued to move against you, his thrusts were heavy as he reached his orgasm.
he finished inside of you and let out a soft groan as he held onto you tightly for a brief moment. the pleasure washed through him as he came. his eyes closed for a moment as he tried to collect himself before you pulled him in for a heated kiss. the head rush was intense and he loved it.
he slowed to a stop, the amount of want in his system left and was replaced with a simple love for you. his wife. the love of his life. he was the luckiest man in the world. he pulled out and laid out next to you. he draped an arm around your middle and held you close to him. his hot breath against you as you both composed yourselves.
you turned to look at him, he smiled a little in his blissful state.
he asked, "i think we should start working on giving luisa a brother or sister. she's only going to start asking."
you raised a brow at him, "toto, she's six months old."
-
"you are going to do well today, luisa." he toto said as he kissed the top of his daughter's head. she's got dark hair like his, but the texture was more like yours. she had your curious gaze and a bright smile. but the determination that toto carried.
she held her helmet close to her chest and nodded, "yes, papa."
"don't forget everything i showed you. and you make
you admired toto's moment with his daughter while your second child held onto your leg. he was still a little too young to be karting. as was your third child, a second daughter who was sound asleep in the stroller.
toto gave luisa one last kiss before he helped her put his helmet on. a sign of good luck. today she was going to show the other karters just what she was made of. she took to racing like a fish did to water and you were proud of what she could become.
luisa went to her kart and toto looked at you. he smiled at you and you gave him a little wink. while you two didn't plan on having anymore children, that didn't mean the spark between you two failed.
once the kids were in bed after celebrating, toto knew that he'd have some time to feel your curves under the dress you wore. even after so many years together, toto was still enamored by you. and you were of him. you just hoped that you didn't end up with wolff baby number four by the end of your daughter's rookie karting season. <3

To say you were obsessed was an understatement. Watching as Matt walked around the room, your eyes followed every movement. You couldn’t look away no matter how hard you tried, not that you wanted to.
You bit your bottom lip, watching as your eyes roamed his body. His back muscles flexed as he reached for the shelf above him. Watching as his pants hung low on his waist. The waistband from his boxers could be seen.
His shirt was discarded on the floor next to your bed. His hair wet from the shower, hanging down in front of his face. His silver chain hung from his neck as it sparkled in the light.
The bold ink displayed on his arms was enough to make you wet. You felt as your panties grew wet, making you clench around nothing. Your eyes never left his body, as if you were hypnotized.
As Matt walked closer to you sitting on the bed his eyes remained down, watching his phone. He was completely unaware of your eyes as they were glued to his body. A million thoughts were running through your head, feeling your breath quicken.
As Matt leaned back on the bed he caught a glimpse of you. Watching as your eyes stayed on him he couldn’t help but nervously smile. “You okay..?” He asked hesitantly. As you continued to watch him his words flew over your head.
Getting thrown off, you snapped back into reality when you see his hand waving in front of your face. Blinking rapidly, you turn your face to the side. “Did you hear me?” Matt asked. You slowly shook your head, watching as he rubbed his stomach in small circles.
“No, sorry.” You spoke up clearing your throat. Matt chuckled, “I asked are you okay. You were like in a different world for a minute.” You smiled at him and nodded. “All good.” Your voice light.
Matt nodded and went back to watching his phone. You grew even wetter over the last couple minutes. You were desperate for him to touch you. Feeling your core throb, you squeezed your thighs in hopes of feeling the release you were aching for.
Deciding you had enough, you quickly slid your pants off tossing them aside. You felt as the cold air hit your body feeling goosebumps rise on your skin. Getting up slightly you walk to the other end of the bed, where Matt laid still oblivious to your presence.
Slowly climbing on him, you watch as his phone went down as his eyes landed on you. His cheeks grew red as he looked your body up and down. He took notice as you were only wearing an oversized shirt with no pants.
“What are you.. doing?” Matt asked confused. You smile at him as you ran your fingertips over his chest. “Matty I need you.” You moaned in between your words. He gulped feeling his chest tighten.
“O-okay.” Matt said nodding. As he gave you his permission you slowly moved your hips on his stomach feeling the pleasure build. As you humped his waist you couldn’t help but moan. Feeling your core leak through and soak your panties, you looked at Matt.
His jaw was slack, watching your movements. He grew hard as he watched you pleasure yourself. He’d always fantasize seeing you like this. The idea of using him to get off. He was so in love with the sight of you like this. Watching you straddle his waist as you moved your body against his.
You felt his hands wrap around your torso helping you move. You threw your head back as you let out whimpers. Placing your hands on his chest, you leaned in kissing his lips passionately. Chasing your climax you felt your stomach tighten.
Feeling his lips move in sync with yours you moaned into his mouth. He slid his tongue over your lips silently asking permission to enter your mouth. Opening your mouth slightly you felt as his tongue found your own. As you desperately pressed your mouth against his craving more, you felt your legs shake.
“You gonna cum?” Matt asked against your mouth. You moaned, letting the whines and whimpers fall from you. As you choked on your words you nodded repeatedly. “Y-yea..” feeling as your eyes rolled backwards you bit your lip.
“Gonna cum from humping me? You’re such a fucking slut. What turned you on baby?” Hearing his words, you grew even wetter. “Y-you.. oh- you looked so good.” He chuckled as you struggled. He placed his fingers on you core, feeling the wetness. “So wet, all for me right?” He asked.
“All for you.” You moaned. Feeling his fingers push your panties to the side he quickly began rubbing small circles on your clit. As you felt his fingers abuse your leaking cunt your body trembled.
You squeezed around his fingers, watching as your cum coated his fingers. As he let you ride out your high, he slowly pulled his fingers from you. You whimpered quietly, as the feeling of being so full quickly disappeared.
He brought his fingers to his mouth sucking up all your juices. He moaned at the taste, licking his lips. As you regained your breath you felt your body grow tired. “Feel better?” He asked. You nodded slowly feeling your eyelids grow heavy, slowly collapsing your body on top of his.

beach days - jake "hangman" seresin
again, just clearing drafts. i'm not in love with this, but it's cute so have fun ig
summary: beach days with the gang lead to you and jake realizing how your relationship has changed. everything is different, but you certainly don't mind.
warnings: none
word count: 2.7k
______________________________________________________________
when maverick told you to show up at the beach in front of the hard deck wearing athletic wear, you didn't know what to expect. you could be conditioning, but that didn't seem like his style. you could be messing around, but you didn't have time for that. all you did know was that his location was strategic - penny was right there to watch as your instructor stripped himself of his shirt and approach the group.
standing next to phoenix in nearly matching sports bras and shorts, you waited for what he'd tell you.
"today, we're playing dogfight football."
half of you cheered and the other half looked confused. you grinned, high-fiving phoenix.
"offense and defense at the same time. boundaries are marked in the sand, hondo will be reffing. for those of you who don't know how to play, just watch the others and try not to drop the ball. rooster, hangman, pick your teams."
the two men grinned, standing next to each other as they surveyed the squad. hangman gestured for rooster to choose first.
"phoenix."
jake grinned. "bronco."
you smirked at phoenix, sending a wink hangman's way as you joined his side. the rest of the teams were chosen and you were quickly thrown into the game.
"bronco, center!" hangman instructed.
"aye, aye captain!" you cheered, propping yourself in front of payback with a grin, your team's foam football resting on your fingertips in the sand. "you ready?"
"ready to kick your ass," he answered. you laughed.
"you wish," you said.
"ready!" hondo yelled. you glanced behind you to see jake as your quarterback with a nice view of your ass. you rolled your eyes as he winked at you. "set!" your vision went underneath you, eying where the ball needed to be for it to make it to him. "hike!"
with a near-perfect throw, the ball was in jake's hands and you were rushing the other team. phoenix had the ball, looking at where to throw it. you ducked out of the way of fanboy's arms, running at rooster who was calling for the ball. coyote was ahead of you though, knocking the man to the side as phoenix eventually decided to just run it for herself.
"y/n you gotta get her!" maverick said, laughing as he was not about to tackle the woman. you booked it across the sand, phoenix moving to dodge you but you jumped forward, effectively knocking her to the ground. you looked up just in time to see jake score.
you jumped up with a cheer, pumping your fists. jake looked at you, running back to your team's side and double high-fiving you excitedly. he whooped, holding your hands in the air for a second before hondo tossed you the ball again.
"those of you who don't know the game, you starting to get it?" maverick called in question. "offense and defense. bronco defended phoenix from scoring and hangman's offense gave them a touchdown. understand?"
there was a vague grumble of agreement.
"you got phoenix?" jake asked with raised brows. you quirked a brow, bouncing the ball between your hands.
"of course i got phoenix," you answered.
he grinned. "do it again darlin'."
"aye aye captain," you said with a mock salute, laughing as you got back into position.
with a yell from hondo again, you tossed jake the ball and dove to the side, keeping fanboy from hitting you. you scrambled to your feet, eyes on phoenix - except it wasn't phoenix as quarterback anymore. it was bradley.
"uh oh."
you quickly switched tactics, running to the end zone, your eyes scanning for jake.
"coyote, all you!" you yelled, pointing at rooster. he began to charge and you continued running. jake was bouncing on his toes, letting your defense cover him for a second. but, he didn't see payback charging from the side.
"hangman! throw it!" you called and his eyes locked on you. he managed to get it thrown just before he got tackled and you braced to catch it.
and of course, you did, immediately turning to score. bob tried to run after you, but it didn't work in time.
"wooh!" you cheered, throwing the ball in the air behind you. jake was at your side in seconds, high-fiving you again.
"nice catch sweetheart," he grinned.
"nice throw," you answered, matching his grin.
the next round continued the same way, but with you as quarterback this time. you thought it'd be easy to get a few throws out to coyote and mav, but it was not. not with phoenix being as persistent as she is. you yelled out as she booked it towards you, just starting to run towards the other side of the makeshift field.
"jake!" you screamed. "freaking cover me, man!"
"just pass me the ball," he offered, a grin on his lips.
"no thanks babe, this one's all me!" you said.
you shrieked as rooster lunged at you, dipping to the side to avoid him. jake was running next to you at this point, just grinning at you. payback appeared out of nowhere and you stopped, ducking behind hangman and letting him take the brunt of the tackle. you laughed as you reached the endzone.
"got it again!"
"no, you didn't," payback said as he stood up, brushing sand off his arms. he pointed across the way and you saw bob on your side with the football in his hands. hondo blew his whistle, pointing to him.
"bob got it!"
"what?" you laughed. rooster whooped, running towards him and lifting the man onto his shoulders. his team cheered as he carried bob around. "lame."
jake circled his arms around your neck from behind, his chin resting on your head. "it's alright darlin', we'll get 'em next time." he surprised you big time with a small kiss to your cheek before he pulled away, grabbing your hand and pulling you to the start line. "come on."
you pulled your hand from his, laughing and pushing his shoulder. "what are you doing?"
"giving you encouragement! if we win you could get more than that," he promised, wiggling his brows.
"oh shut up, seresin. i don't want any of that," you told him with a roll of your eyes, hoping your words covered the light blush that spread across your cheeks.
"mhm, keep telling yourself that bronco," he said, still smirking.
"mav, i wanna switch teams!" you yelled, hand in the air as you smirked yourself. maverick laughed.
"fanboy, switch her."
it got competitive quick.
anytime jake had the ball, you were in front of him, smacking it to the sand. you tried to keep away from your ball, knowing you'd be thrown into the sand if you did. but, sometimes things couldn't be avoided and you ended up covered in sand with hangman in front of you, offering you a hand.
at some point, maverick had wandered off and y'all continued to mess around.
every time jake scored he cheered loudly, pointing at you. "wanna switch again?"
"never!" you yelled, turning to rooster and phoenix to come up with a game plan.
phoenix scored twice, you high-fiving your best friend before sticking your tongue out at the texan across the sand. he rolled his eyes, just getting back into position.
he then won another point, slamming the ball into the sand, the men behind him falling dramatically. you resisted the urge to laugh at the sight. he pointed to you again, but you just flipped him the bird.
"oh come on darlin', don't be like that!"
you flipped him both fingers as you turned to walk away.
"y/n, incoming!" phoenix yelled with a laugh just before you got lifted right out of the air.
"hangman, put me down!" you demanded, pulling at his arms.
"hey rooster!" he called instead. "wanna play chicken?"
bradley laughed, glancing once at phoenix. "sure!"
"wait, no-!" both you and phoenix yelled as you were tossed into the ocean. you gasped for air as you surfaced, repeatedly punching jake in the arm. "what are you doing?"
"come on sweetheart, let's kick their asses," he said with a smirk, holding his hand out to you. you glanced behind you at phoenix, both of you nodding and looking back to your respective boys.
"alright then," you nodded. he gestured for you to circle around and jump on his shoulders, but you took a different route. with one hand on his head and the other on his shoulder, you pulled him down as you jumped, effectively dunking him with your body weight. when he went under, you swung around and sat on his shoulders, making it that much harder to get up.
it seemed like you didn't do much to toughen things for him as he stood up, coughing, his hands on your thighs to keep you stable. you ruffled his dripping hair, pulling it out of his face and then letting it slap back down on his forehead with a laugh.
"you good bagman?" you asked. he patted your thighs as he coughed once more.
"fine, baby, thanks," he said. you laughed, letting him take your hands instead of your thighs to keep you balanced as he waded through the water towards where bradley was trying to breathe again, natasha on his shoulders laughing hard.
"good there bradshaw?" you asked with a chuckle. he reached up, slapping her arm and making her laugh harder. you looked down, squeezing jake's hands twice to get his attention before letting them go. "alright jake, lock in."
"oh don't worry bronco, i have no intentions of losing to rooster," he told you with a grin, peeking up at you best he can without knocking you backwards.
"good," you said.
"ready bronco?" natasha asked, a wicked grin on her lips as she held her hands up.
"go!" you exclaimed, the men beneath you two girls charging.
you and phoenix grappled at each other, trying to upset the other's balance while the boys tried their hardest to knock the other over. you grabbed one of her shoulders with both hands, pushing her sideways.
"kick his leg jake!" you exclaimed, continuing to shove phoenix to the side. you felt jake do just that and bradley stumbled. at that moment, both you and jake pushed them backwards and they went tumbling into the water, earning cheers from you and your fellow aviator.
hangman whooped loudly and you could hear bob and coyote laughing behind you guys. phoenix and rooster reemerged from the water, lighthearted glares in their eyes before they erupted in chuckles themselves.
"again?" you taunted, holding your hands in the air as a taunt.
"nah, i think bob and coyote want in," rooster laughed.
"i don't wanna go against bob!" you exclaimed.
"fine, go against me!" coyote called back, the two men entering the water with wide smiles.
you leaned down to whisper to jake, "you better be sturdy."
he patted your legs. "don't worry darlin', we aren't losing this thing."
you and jake ended the day as the reigning champs of chicken, even managing to convince penny and maverick to contend against y'all, but to no avail. you guys were just that good.
"good game, cowboy," you told him, patting his head as he held his hands up to help you down. you gracefully hopped off from behind him, the man turning to face you once your feet landed in the sand.
"good game, bronco," he replied, grinning. "now since i carried you the whole time, i think i deserve a ride, don't i?"
in a flash, you were underwater, hangman jokingly sitting on your shoulders as you tried to stand up. when you finally reached the surface, the man was tipping backwards, hanging onto you to try to remain upright.
"hangman, get off!" you laughed, pushing his thighs off your shoulders.
"no, you can do this!" he exclaimed, but at this point he was clinging to you more like a piggyback. you laughed again, grabbing his legs so he was more secure and trudging your way out of the ocean. "yes!"
"hangman, why are you making bronco give you a piggyback ride?" maverick asked, a hand on his hip as he watched them with an amused smile.
"because she is a strong, independent woman who can easily give a man a piggyback ride if she wants to," he answered, nodding at the captain. "or if her best friend tells her too."
"yeah, well her best friend is a fatass," you said with a laugh, dropping him on the sand as you moved to collect your keys and phone from phoenix. he stood up, wiping the sand off him as he followed you.
"need a ride?" he asked.
"nah, phoenix is taking me back," you told him as you grabbed your things from said girl.
"well, bradley wants to get chick-fil-a, so if you wanna come you're welcome, but i understand if you just want to go home with hangman," she told you, a look in her eye explaining that you in fact were not welcome to come.
"no thanks," you laughed. you looked back at jake. "hangman, i'd appreciate that ride now please."
"come on sweetheart," he laughed, swinging an arm around your shoulders and walking you to his sweet red 1996 ford f-150. you hopped in the passenger seat as he started up the engine.
"today was fun," you said as he pulled out of the parking lot and started towards your temporary apartments, only a block or so apart. you smiled at him. "thanks for making it fun."
he smiled at you, resting his hand on your thigh again. "i do my best."
there was something different about the way he had been speaking to you recently, the little touches, nicknames, heck he'd even kissed you on the cheek a few times in the last few weeks. he'd always been a flirt, but something in you said that this was different. maybe it's because whatever it was you had with him, it actually felt real.
to test this theory, you grabbed the hand that was still on your knee and held it in yours. he glanced at you and you waited for a response, only seeing the corner of his mouth pull up in a smile and you feel him squeeze your hand twice.
cool. this was okay.
he pulled up to your apartment, parking next to your red bronco. before you could say anything, he had gotten out of the truck and crossed to your side, opening your door for you. he held his hand out and helped you down, giving you a charming smile as he took your hand again. you both walked to your door, you quickly unlocking it but not making any moves to open it yet.
"today was really fun," he said. "i always have a good time with you, y/n."
you loved when he called you by your real name instead of just your callsign.
"i always have a good time with you too, jake," you said, smiling softly.
everything felt different, but a good different. for some reason, it felt like you were finally on the same page. and you were.
he grabbed your face in his hands and pressed his lips to yours, smiling into the kiss as he felt you reciprocate. you parted for a moment, readjusting your hands to be around his neck, his on your waist pulling you closer to him as you went in for round two. when you pulled apart next, he rested his forehead on yours.
"wanna come inside?" you asked with a smile. "just to watch a movie or something. make dinner."
"that sounds perfect," he answered, kissing your forehead.
things were different, hangman could feel it. but it was a good thing. it was going to be a lasting thing. and he couldn't wait to start it, kissing your temple from behind as you pushed the door open.
wow, you loved beach days.
